I dont know if im going to buy a nintendo revolution. Im sort of off videogame. I havnt played them much the last few years. The only games I bought in the past year where Metroid Prime 2, GTA: San Andreas, and MGS3. And I didnt even finish any of them. The only game I am looking foward to this year is the new Zelda. When the new systmes come out, my brother will buy the PS3 because thats the only system he plays. As for me, Ill just wait till the release Zelda Revolution before getting the new nintendo system. But the idea of online Super Smash Brothers does interest me a bit.

Just Dance 2020, which is on the shelf at my Target, is likely the final Nintendo Revolution game.

I think I read that it outsold other versions, so here's hoping for Just Dance 2021.

Replace all of the characters in that picture that aren't actually in the roster with Pokémon, Fire Emblem characters, or Xenoblade characters, and you have actual Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Pit, Diddy, K.Rool, Banjo, Wolf, MegaMan, Sonic, Wario, Dedede, Koopa Jr., Daisy, Olimar, Zelda

The Wii is a pretty good system. A lot of shovelware but a lot of quality titles too.

Believe it or not, I think the market in 10 years will actually prefer a lot of the dopey shovelware over the simply outdated realism-based games on the system. Like the shovelware will be $8 and the realistic ones $4-5.

The Nintendo Revolution never jived with me, I could never get used to motion controls... I just wanted a controller-controller for games.

Thankfully there were enough games out there that used a controller-controller for them. And often the ones with motion controls weren't that bad. I've noticed that quite a few Wii titles just have you turn the Wii Remote to the side and hold it like a NES controller. There might be some motion controls there but it's generally not the focal point.

I specifically remember letting my wrist go slack in Twilight Princess, and Link would flip the fuck out. I don't recall there being an option to use a classic controller option for that game -- regardless, I did not have that controller.

Oh yeah, Twilight Princess leans heavily on the motion controls, as does most of Nintendo's first party heavy hitters.

When I bought Xenoblade Chronicles, I got the version that had the pro controller bundled with it.

I'm currently playing through Twilight Princess on Wii U with my son and it's so much better sans waggle.
