These two don't sound like specific VG songs, but they remind me of some different eras of video game music...

Rippingtons are a popular band on the contemporary jazz station I listen to, and this track in particular gives me a 90's redbook audio vibe:

The main lick in this one reminds me of NES melodies:

i cross'd a barrier into SCOOPvilLe yesterday and dunked with the best jammers and fresh dip ballers roundabout through an awesome bomb dunk party.

Typhoon Turnpike by TWRP sounds like half the Super Mario Kart soundtrack:

Skip to 7:26 if it doesn't start there already.

It also has an explicit Sonic 2 reference at 8:37

Was watching a video that I think urvile posted on FB about some of Kondo's influences and they covered some familiar territory (that one Friendship song that was ripped for Underground Theme, the T-Square song that influenced Ground Theme), but I didn't know about this early Deep Purple epic that seems to have had a pretty big influence on LoZ, especially the bit that first appears at 2:00 in this video

1:56 reminds me of some NES game but I can't remember which one. Batman Return of the Joker?

There's a big difference between a show being good and a shoe being enjoyable.

Prepare for mind explosion at 1:04:

It's one of those things where it's not as much of a straight lift as the Friendship thing, but it's such an iconic rhythm that it's a pretty obvious direct influence.

Mario Bros. (no “Super”) predates the song so the name of the song is just a coincidence.
