i watched them all in spurts or highlights reals besides, here's a few things
Fight For The Fallen was kinda house showy and had an odd production ending but I'm loving the character work that's being worked on. MJF is a dick, but also hates Tye Sean Dillinger 10 Spears for hitting Cody Rhodes with that chair. I love heels hating heels, or just the idea that just because you're in tag match together doesn't mean your auto friends with the people your tagging with.
Rhodes vs. Young Bucks was a mix of old and new, methodical and fast paced, not nearly as good as Cody/Dustin but still fun.
Kenny was alright but I don't really care for his new song.
Luchasaurus on paper sounds really dumb, but geez he's like Kane if he could do Lucha things, pretty cool
some other cool stuff happened but nothings coming up, Jericho showed up.
there was also that Evolve show running head to head with AEW, i watched a highlight deal of it, Paul Heyman was there because it was in the old ECW arena, some neat indie wrestling by people i don't know, though NXT guys showed up, Drew Gulak and Matt Riddle had a blast of a time.
I know New Japan G1 Climax is going down, and i'm always super excited to try to watch some, but then the scheduling throws me off and i end up only doing some recaps, i'm sure i'm missing some classics though.
Extreme Rules was probabaly the most well rounded main roster WWE pay per view of the year, really strong showings.
Alister Black vs Cesaro's probably my favorite, was really hyped with Cesaro ended up being the guy to challenge him, just a hard hitting, limb targetting, wrestling fairy tale.
Bobby Lashley vs Bruan Strowman was another favorite, just a fun all around the arena match, probably the best Bobby Lashley match I've seen in a while, at least since he's been back, Braun looked like a monster again, just a lot of fun.
ohh yeah, Undertaker did alot better, that tag match was fun as well, Taker in this role makes him look 10 years younger which was amazing to see, i know he's got limited time left in him, so seeing him have a match where i wasn't worried about Mark Callaway being too old.
All the tag title matches were good, New Day winning looks neat with Kofi still being Champ
liking AJ Style's heel turn, Ricochet match was good but crowd was tired, hoping they go all in on The Club
there's other stuff, but main event was better then i thought although crowd was beyond gassed and the slow parts dragged hard
last 5 mins made up for it for me, Corbin hitting an End of Days to Becky which is a super faux-paw thing to see in WWE, Rollins got enraged and the whole couple thing Becky and Seth have been doing actually seemed real.
still have a soft spot for Lacey Evans as she feels like an old NWA heel.
Rollins won, then Brock cashed in, not to mad about that at the moment, was a neat way to end an otherwise great night.
If Brock shows up more, I'll be cool with him being Universal Champ again.
Though i could see it being a complete drag again as well
