Legends of the Fall: What was this movie even about? Three idiot brothers and an girl who put up with the shit they put her through? Every character was in some shape or form, a total idiot. I cared nothing about them, the only thing I did like was the setting. Montana is beautiful.

That's what realistic Epic Drama Tragedies are. There's no one hero, no real villian (except the Irish mob, or maybe time itself). It's not just a collection of meaningless events, every line in that movie has a purpose that can be interpreted 5 different ways. Everyone's betraying each other, yet everyone loves each other.

I found it very Hemingway-esque, and an amazing adaptation of the Jim Harrison short story. One of the best contemporary American writers, that guy.

Warhorse: More like Borehorse. I went to bed halfway through this movie.

yeah, i saw this in the theater. it's one big eye roll of a movie. everything about it is so cliched and boring.
the entire movie is one big coincidence after another. i'm still shocked this received any recognition, especially a 'best picture' nod.

I'm really looking forward to The Cabin in the Woods.

I was thinking it was just going to be a typical horror movie halfway through the trailer. Then the other half put me in my place. Hopefully I'll have time to check it out this weekend.

92% on Rotten Tomatoes. This might be the first movie I see in theaters since Inception.

Looking forward to seeing it tomorrow. According to Wired, it's best if you go in knowing very little about the film, so I've stayed away from reviews. Joss Whedon co-wrote and directed it, so I think it'll be good.

I also started watching Dragon Tiger Gate on netflix, which is a kung fu film. It somehow reminds me of Double Dragon if Billy and Jimmy had emo haircuts. I'm somewhat impatient with movies recently, so I'm about a third through right now.

Rubin and Ed gave me two of the biggest laughs I've ever had whilst watching a movie...for all the wrong reasons. :P

The geology in this movie is amazing.

One big gripe I have with Cabin is that scene with the hawk or whatever at the beginning. What did that serve the movie except to kind of ruin a crazy moment later in the film Posted Image

Three Stooges was GOOOOOOD. Like, shockingly good. Very faithful. Recommended.
Maybe I'll go see Cabin next with a lady. Maybe.

I think that the only way you're going to nail a 10 (or 11) girl is if you have millions of dollars, a non maniac mansion, a bichon frise with a bow on it's head, a yacht, and multiple fast cars! i'm so sorry :/
