I thought Detective Pikachu was great. Well-done *actual plot* in addition to the cuteness and humor. :o

Yeah I really enjoyed it. I’m not a huge Pokemon nut but it was very fun and full of detail.

Yeah, as far as adults go, I kinda felt like I was in the perfect demographic for this movie: am certainly very aware of Pokemon, but only ever dabbled in one Pokemon video game (Pokemon Snap), played the card game occasionally in high school but never owned my own deck, and grew up with the cartoon (though there is only one--albeit amazing--nod to the cartoon). An appreciator but not a superfan. Just a cool movie! Like,

Just got back from a documentary on who wrote the hit song, Who Let The Dogs Out. The answer is complicated and the Wikipedia page only goes back to '98, but the documentary goes back as far as '86. These are important questions.

So excited to see this on Sunday.  And so glad I live near small theaters that show this stuff.

TL;DW: A spaceship carrying a ton of people goes off course, and they get lost for a long time, and have to figure out how to live, possibly live out their lives, and stuff gets weird.

I was having my fair share of doubts along with many others but I'm willing to give this Aladdin remake a fair chance after watching the latest trailer

Finally gave in and saw Endgame. It's like a much less good version of Last Jedi.
