Does anyone know how good the quality of 3rd Party Av cables for the Model 1 Genesis , generally are??
I need a new Av cable(read: composite) for my Model 1.

I need a new Av cable(read: composite) for my Model 1.
Anyway, a cable is more or less a cable really. I have some GameStop RF Adapters and they're fine. I think you'd be much better off shooting for S-Video.

Well I really don't plan on playing this ever on a display capable of S-video or RGB/whatnot.(I've got a CRT capable of S-Video, but S-Video looks terrible on it.)
I have a 20 year old 20inch CRT from my Childhood that has Composite in and RF-in that I've mainly used, forever for older systems. And it works fine for that purpose.

uh, i've been using a 3rd-party composite cable on my Model 1 Genny for quite some time, and it looks great.
especially where there's faux-transparency, makes a huge difference.

Wouldn't happen to be the Bit-Gen cable eh? That seems to be the one that I can find the easiest.uh, i've been using a 3rd-party composite cable on my Model 1 Genny for quite some time, and it looks great.
