I can't even think of a single positive thing involving the CV NES trilogy controls.

I think that the only way you're going to nail a 10 (or 11) girl is if you have millions of dollars, a non maniac mansion, a bichon frise with a bow on it's head, a yacht, and multiple fast cars! i'm so sorry :/

Far from it. The discussion started as comparing Dracula X to Rondo, and even to SotN. If you're gonna do that, you might as well write off every other CV game out there.well... I figured we're just sticking to the SNES games.
I keep hearing you guys complaining about the "clunky" controls in Dracula X, but I don't hear any of you bashing the controls in CV1-3. What's the difference? They essentially have the exact same feel. I don't get it.

I still stand by that these are awful games but with great soundtracks being the only redeeming factor.

Castlevania
Castlevania 2
Castlevania 3
There, I thought of three!

Is this truth? I was specifically avoiding the tour because of Heritage...That's not the reason, because he IS still growling. On the Opeth/Mastodon tour, Opeth have specifically chosen songs in which Akerfeldt growls.

probably because he can't growl anymore

Fun and profit.Wait wait wait...I know I'm way behind, but why is Sam moving to Switzerland?
Actually, no. I won't make any kind of a profit from this trip. More like debt. Fun and debt.
Oh, and law school.

The games are designed around Simon's/Trevor's movements, of course. It's not as though they crafted a bunch of levels and then dropped a bollock and threw a massively inadequate character into them.
(It's like Ghouls 'n' Ghosts - it has its deliberate, methodical pacing precisely because Arthur moves like he's shat himself. It'd be a very different and potentially far less important game otherwise.)
What makes Ghosts 'N Goblins control better than CV is that you can turn around during a jump. That is, jump one direction and shoot in the other direction. That's what saves your ass vs. the red arremers.
