Umm, fixed?!? Seriously, what is that guy thinking. As far as we're concerned, innovation that is graphical is essentially not innovation at all.

I think that the only way you're going to nail a 10 (or 11) girl is if you have millions of dollars, a non maniac mansion, a bichon frise with a bow on it's head, a yacht, and multiple fast cars! i'm so sorry :/

Maybe make sure everyone has actually read the other article first. You know, the one he links paranthetically at the end that seems much more serious.

that being said. i might buy one after i have already played the hell out of the new zelda (on my gamecube)
sorry to be the sourpuss,
but aside from the new metroid game, and the ability to play 3rd person shooters in an interesting new way ( the new controller)
what are some excellent reasons to get this? this is not a retorical question, give me some good points.
i saw some war/3rd person shooter for the xbox 360, and it was fucking sick, everyblade of grass moved, the trees moved , the explosions were lifelike. and it seems like this same game might be on the wii. im still hoping that the graphics will be almost compairable to the x box 360. i cant imagine what the ps3 will look like.

i love nintendo, but am still skeptical. i saw some fighter pilot/ airplane game for the wii , and it looked like it could have been done on the N64. i realize that the wii will launch with a really low reatail price, making owning one attainable to almost everyone. but nintendo has fell short in the graphics department for the last 3 consols.
I thought that Resident Evil 4 looked pretty awesome on the Gamecube. I was actually really surprised it could pull off those graphics, am I wrong in thinking that the Gamecube was as graphically powerful as the PS2?
That aside though, I do have to agree with you that some of the Wii graphics I've seen aren't that great. With 3D games, graphics do matter a lot, but even if the Wii is just a little better than the gamecube the graphics will be good enough.... in any case, I'm getting one.

O_O ;_;and also the new gay disco Mario game thats coming out.
Eventually the PS3 will be considered crap to the PS4, graphically (if Sony makes it that long, which they most likely will). GameCube had better graphics compared to PS2 (277 MHz vs. 415 approx. MHz), so I'm absolutely fine if games looked like that for just a little bit longer, but in this case the Wii will be capable of 2x that! Now I'm uber happy.
Screw graphic tarts, imo. Not everyone is rich enough to get the major consoles (though 360 is partially affordable, plus, there are some awesome games I'd beg Santa for. Yes, I still believe in Santa
What?).

uh, wow.
no matter how you slice it, Mario Galaxy looks like shit;
really? because it kind of looks like a Mario game.

don't do that. the chips on PS2 and GC are different, you can't compare performance just by looking at clock speeds. also, potential performance has nothing to do with "better graphics". a metaphor: it's not the size of the tool, it's how you use it.GameCube had better graphics compared to PS2 (277 MHz vs. 415 approx. MHz)
don't know about Mario Galaxy, but other than that, what Geo said.
