I prefer that powdered baking cocoa to the bars in chili. I totes agree, but I  was trying to keep it intro-level :)

I'm down 20lbs since early December, 50 lbs down since I quit drinking. Keto, about 1k calories a day. 12g carbs on average. Fitness tracker says I'm burning using 2k calories a day. Siiiick.
I've got about 13 more lbs before I'm at my all time lowest. Now I've got to motivate myself to be more active. Uugh.

Starting back at 196, had my first day back at the gym. My mile dropped to around 8:30, and all my regular weights for sets went down like 10lbs. I'm upset, but I didn't let myself go as bad as I thought. And I'm excited to get into the prime.

One of the first steps to New year, new me, new city, new things.

8:30 is a good mile time. I'm happy to get 9:00 when I'm in practice.

Deadlifts are tricky in the new space. Still set a 1RM of 260, so I'm satisfied with that!

I walked to the library today. Made me want to get a bike for my immediate area. Grocery stores, the gym, and even my homie's place are within a few miles that would be great for quick rides, and save on gas and just using my car.

Went here to read and get my motivated again.

I went up from 155 to 165 with holidays :(

 

I got angry today and said I need to lose this god damn fat and keep it off, I was on the way to losing more pounds, but I lacked discipline and stalled at 155 +-2

 

I want to break the 150 barrier, I know I went down to 153, I could have continued to go down but noooooooooooo.

Well I'm gonna look even better.

 

Pro tip for discipline: Every pound you lose makes you more sexually attractive.

 

Stopped training for 3 months now but I do Jiu-Jitsu with my brother twice a week. Not as intense, but great change of pace. I will add a small daily routine that I can do really quick before I shower in the evening. I'm more aiming at a weekly volume than max strength, I want to try something new.

Push-ups, Overhead shoulder press, triceps, squat, hip bucks, pull-ups, biceps. Just 1 set till failure everyday I don't go Jiu-Jitsuing.

 

I think my focus now is much more on the fat loss than the muscle gain. If I lose some more fat the muscles will show, I know it's hidden under there. My friend is a massage therapist and confirmed, so I think I'm on a good path.

 

Also, Back on a hardcore Keto at under 20g of carbs a day. That shit is BADASS.

When I do days under 5g it's even better. I SHED the fat with this way of eating and I am super healthy.

 

See ya'll when I need more motivation or to share how much I'm kicking ass.

Beat my fastest 5k time again today (by 10 seconds), so I'm at 23:29. Perhaps I'll get it under 23 minutes this year. I never thought I'd get this far. I've been ignoring longer runs this past month or so, so for the next week or two I might focus on runs at least 45 minutes in length, or perhaps a 10k depending on how I feel. Maybe my recent grilled cheese obsession is my secret weapon?
