Was one of them when
- At two points in the game, LATE game, I read a phrase that equated to "if things don't work out here, you might need to start over." WTF? That's why I used a FAQ in the first place!Spoiler
That late-game part was pretty rough, I think.

At one point during the first half I didn't get the bow gun as soon as I could have, and then that door closes for a good long while, so I was hurting for ammo pretty bad. All that bow gun ammo and nothing to shoot it with. The first bandersnatch with just a pistol was such a pain and a waste of pistol ammo. Could have really used those explosive bolts on that one. Other than that I haven't had much trouble. It's a little surprising how fast you get used to the controls again. I'm still running on walls instead of just hugging them like the good old days, but it's getting there.
I complained about this somewhere (I don't think it was here), but nosferatu is so annoying.
I was actually entertaining the idea of an A rank in the future, but I can't deal with nosferatu reliably. Terrible aim I guess.
Right now I'm playing as Chris and there were a bunch of poison hunters on the yard and they killed me.

Same thing happened with me regarding the bowgun. That FAQ I mentioned just casually advised "take the Bandersnatch down in 3 hits with your bowgun," To which I promptly ctrl-f'd and found no mention of acquiring the damned thing. Additionally, he didn't even mention that it's the EXPLOSIVE bolts that do the damage to that degree.I was playing CVXHD as well, but haven't finished it yet.

Regarding the controls, I fully agree about how fast you get re-accustomed to the tank style scheme.
I tried the poison hunters part about 5 times, lol. I was definitely not prepared to handle it without getting poisoned and damaged.I complained about this somewhere (I don't think it was here), but nosferatu is so annoying.

Additionally, I am with you on the Nosferatu part. I beat him on my first attempt, then realized I could put my handgun bullets into the item box for chris, so I reloaded to before the Nos battle and tried again. 3 losses later, I managed to bring him down. I was definitely confused. Victory always feels like a fluke with him.

The setup to that fight makes it kind of more annoying. It's like, hey, take this sniper rifle so you can shoot the next boss from distance. And then in the boss, you can't actually see the target all that well from that distance because of that blizzard, so sniping is a pain.I tried the poison hunters part about 5 times, lol. I was definitely not prepared to handle it without getting poisoned and damaged.

It basically just comes down to either knowing where the actual target on his body is so you can just snipe based on the silhouette alone, or just run close enough and quickscope.
Do not like.

i have a confession
im really friggin horrible at the hacking in DX:HR and its kind of making the overall game less enjoyable since its a big part of being able to play all sneaky-sneaky. i have a feeling theres a basic part of it that im just overlooking or something. my skill is at level 3 and i just SUUUUUCK at it
also i encourage everyone to download the Terminator 2 level on TRIALS EVO, its pretty rad

8+ hours was my final time. Rank D or something like that, went completely retry crazy on couple spots so that probably didn't help my rank.
I've been reconsidering trying the A rank after all, aside from the Nosferatu, I didn't really have too much trouble with the rest of the game. The few times I properly died were more or less because I wasn't prepared, or didn't remember what the hell I was supposed to do. Just need to shave 4 hours from the time, shouldn't be too difficult. Skipping all the cutscenes and backtrack minimizing should be enough.

Finishing a race without crashing almost takes all the fun away from the game. I really just want to get to the insane levels, where just getting to a checkpoint is hard.

What are you doing? Are you trying to unlock all the nodes and extra stuff, or just going straight for the core? Are your reflexes fast?

It's doesn't matter if it detects you... only if it successfully traces you.im generally just going for the core. im quick w my reflexes, but the worm on some of these detects me when im only half way done with the maps...
If you are detected super early on tough hack consoles, don't be afraid to log-out and try again. Otherwise, just push through. There's timer that's let's you know how much time you have after you've been detected, but before you've been traced. Always keep going until the very last half of a second, just to see how far you can get...
If you have more specific information about your current hacking levels, the level of the terminals you're trying to hack or specific hacking problems, then I could give more specific tips.

Also a helpful hint I didn't realize until halfway through the game: You can click on more than one node at a time if it's unlocked. Usually my strategy was to quickly unlock everything to the core. Then when that's left, go back and get the extra stuff. If I set off an alarm, I can just click on the core and get out of there.
these hilary clinton-looking women must be pressing their buttholes right up against the sides of the stall and letting it rip.
icing bag style.
