What ever happened to that ass face that said he had a no death speed run of Silver Surfer NES?

Spook, I would really love too see your run of NG1. Like, almost more than any other game on the NES. DO IT! :'(

Heh I dunno about Surfer...I haven't checked that place in a while (ever since I posted about my NG run and still haven't submitted it. I feel too embarrassed to go back).

That's awesome about Kareshi getting more props outside of the community!

I don't know how I would record it, but I just broke out the ol' Quake 1 to see how quick I could zip through episode 1 on easy mode.

E1M1 - 0:31
E1M2 - 0:46
E1M3 - 1:11 (I can't do that crazy grenade jump from the gold key, however I do a little grenade boost over the wall with the spike that shoots out at you)
E1M4 - 0:53
E1M5 - 0:32 (can't time the grenade jump to the top at the beginning, so I rush inside and grab the rocket launcher for an easier boost. Lame I know)
E1M6 - 0:18 (would be faster but I had to grab health at the end to survive rocket jumping in the boss level)
E1M7 - 0:20 (easy mode so you only have to zap him once)

Total - 4:31

Note, this wasn't all in one run, I had to continue from the start of each level a few times. But it's with the health and armor remaining from the previous level.

I've never played Quake one player, but those seem like some insanely fast times to me dude.

dude... there's a glitchfest (but console made) Zelda: Ocarina of Time run on youtube now (it was rejected by SDA for one out of the 9999 glitches he abuses)
