Oh man. I love the bassist for Sokoninaru. Her tone rips and her playing is tight. I also want that bass so bad

Just looked them up on reverb, maaaan! They make some beautiful basses. Would love to play one. Kind of reminds of Sandberg basses

Ouch, that's supremely pricy for a souped-up Jazz. I'd very much prefer a Sandberg for half the price (if bought in Europe). Or an EBMM Caprice.

Still, the tone is great. So is yours and your playing, Brodan!

I'm considering selling my Dingwall. Would anyone here be interested?

Didn’t you have two? Or am I misremembering? Why are you selling it?

Either way, not for me. All I’m missing to reach endgame bass status is a 4-string EBMM. Plus, CITES is complicated and scary so I’m only buying maple fretboards from now on.

i did have two. I had an Afterburner I in a 4 string but i did not enjoy it very much. the neck was much thicker and pretty round so I couldn't navigate it too well. i learned guitar on an ibanez so i was very spoiled by paper thin necks. i sold that and now I just have my Combustion 5 string.

i would like to sell it just because my fingering is not the strongest still and the 37" scale makes playing fast on the higher frets really tough. i want to get an Ibanez SRFF805 for now because i love fanned frets but want a slightly shorter scale. im not gonna try too hard to sell it but if someone is interested i wouldnt really hesitate. plus with the amount i could sell it for it would fund the Ibanez SRFF and a new PRS guitar i wanna try

There's some fun alternatives, like pau-ferro. Which is a really cool blend between the tone of rosewood and the smoother feel of ebony. But, the color is usually ugly, like a diaherea brown.

However, stained pau-ferro is a option.

Is this legitimately an issue for used instruments, or are we just goofin'?

Ha, that's one of those dour bass colors that you see that seems to say, "Hey, I'm real serious. I'm a bass."
