I'm on the fence about getting either Wipeout Pure or Pulse. Anybody have either of them? Thoughts?

I wonder if the Euro version of Pure is still obtainable. I guess that version has exclusive, downloadable tracks and from what I've seen on youtube, the artwork is crazy awesome.

i do miss not having equippable weapons, armor etc.
this shift of rpgs towards accessories only makes me sad... :(

No equipment? :(

yes...aren't you playing it? only accessories are equippable.
no weapons or armor etc...

Yeah, sorry about that. I hurriedly typed that message before taking a nap. What I failed to mention was how I was hoping that I could eventually use equipment but that I couldn't just yet, but it would seem it has turned into a "never use equipment" scenario. I'll still like the game, but I was hoping for a little more on that aspect.

God of war is great.
For such a detailed game, the lack of loadtimes is really really impressive.

Well considering how it kills a battery twice as fast I wasn't surprised by the lack of load times.
I got 100% in that game yesterday, btw. Fun yet frustrating.

Pure is damn good, and most of the downloadable content is pretty good.

ok, crisis core officially RULES. actually playing parts
that are only alluded to in ff7 is amazing. going to
nibelheim with sephiroth and cloud as zack is CHILLING.
and they use the same dialogue as in the flashback.
damn!!!

There's so many great moments in this game. I got all choked up when Zach bought Aerith the pink ribbon.

I just wish one didn't have to get 777 to level up though.....

But, still,

<Nario> I'm liking it.

Goddamn, I'm afraid to even take that one on.

I'm so close to the end. There's even a New Game + from what I hear. Dudes, you need a PSP for this game!

Can't remember if there is a better PSP thread...

Anyways, I have a $120 amazon gift card from coinstarring spare change. My amazon wishlist is huge but it's nothing that's too expensive and I don't really want $120 worth of books and CDs right now. A PSP might be my option.

Question:
Can a PSP slim do everything a regular PSP can? I'm talking emulation, homebrew, etc...

Also, list your favorite games!!</manditory>
