I really wish that was for a real movie.
Its just the kind of action Muppets need to jumpstart the franchise!

Actually they showed one of the next muppet ventures at the Comicon today. The franchise has redeemed itself. Big time.

It's eerie how much Sig Haig looks like Dr. Teeth and Bill Moseley looks like Floyd.

Emperors of Japan
Myspace

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.

Two things. The first will be a webshow called Tinseltown, which consists of a gay hollywood couple (a bull and a pig) who have an adopted twelve year old human child. It's not online yet, but the ten minute preview they showed was the funniest thing I had seen in a while.

The second is this: http://www.puppetup.com/player.html
It's a muppet improv show where the audience shouts out scenarios, and then the puppeteers work their improvisational magic. They did a quick one at the comicon with Ben Browder from Farscape (hopefully there is one other person on the planet who watched it besides myself) that was also highly amusing.

Puppet Up is awesome.

It's amazing how long things take from development to finally seeing the light of day, especially when it's a great idea. (Think about the fact that the idea for a sitcom based on the Geico caveman went from the working stages to pilot in the past 6 months - ugh.) So, it's great to see that Puppet Up is finally nearing something viable.

The best live puppet improv I've seen was Josh and Tamra (http://www.joshandtamra.com) - they're amazing!

A little less amazing, but still fun was Ferguson a few years ago: http://fuzzyco.com/b...s/DSC02779.html (note: I'm not wearing a fat suit ... actually, I am, but it's made of actual fat.)

That triggered a back-in-the-day flashback of this: http://fuzzyco.com/b...s/DSC02921.html
