Started One Punch Man finally and it's as good as everyone says. Saitama's deadpan gets me every time. Much prefer this to My Hero Academia.
I need to start watching Season 2

"You know BornInCrimson, guys, right? The guy who hosts, like, Dwelling of Duels? I was in there with him, and Master Hatchet, that guy kicks ass. He has like these metal arrangements. But anyways. I'm trying to say...uh...I was there with these guys, and uh..."

Is Season 2 good? They ended the first in what I felt was a "where could they possibly go from here?" sorta way. How much 'bigger' could they go? I didn't even know there was a second season until very recently and it seems superfluous. It ended perfectly.
I thought S1 implied a lot more kinda Watchmen-y shit happening behind the scenes than what we originally saw. I'm hoping it will be good, S1 was amazing.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

I watch stupid amounts of slice-of-life. I'll try to keep these as female-centric as possible:
Encouragement of Climb
Girls' Last Tour
Chio's School Road
Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun
As Miss Beelzebub Likes It
Wake Up, Girls
Please Tell Me! Galko-chan
The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior
Wolf Girl and Black Prince

I'd also recommend Non Non Biyori and Kiniro Mosaic. The latter has a couple of british girl exchange students and a running gag where the main character (a japanese girl) is like a reverse weeb, she has a thing for "western" culture and stuff but can barely speak english and stuff.
For non-SoL stuff, I just got into Steins;Gate 0, and I got hooked super fast. It gets super compelling after a few episodes and doesn't have anywhere near the amount of tiresome anime "this character is a perv lol" humor.

I've been super addicted to slice of life anime lately and are looking for more recommendations (preferably on Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime). Some of my favorites that I've watched recently...
Recovery of an MMO Junkie
I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
Laid Back Camp
Generally prefer shows with casts of all/mostly women, or at least a female protagonist. Sorry if this has been talked about already, I just didn't want to sift through 224 pages.

Perfect Blue is so good. I still resent the general sentiment about it common among anime fans in the late 90s/early 00s. People made it out as if it was some trashy movie just using sex and violence to sell. I avoided it for years because of that, and when I finally watched it, I discovered it was totally unlike how it was made out to be. The fact that people would even have that kind of takeaway is pretty gross.
