Anyone remember the Street Fighter 2, the Animated Movie? I don't know if that counts as anime.

Ya I have street fighter 2, its a damn good movie.

I wish they would make a cartoon with the ladys and the thumb monster in my SIG.

GITS2?  I heard of the tv series running in japan, but another movie...rawk

yeah, the series is GiTS Stand Alone Complex or something to that order...I have 21 eps so far...haven't had the time to sit down and watch it yet

Lemme rattle off all the anime I've seen...in roughly chronological order...just to see what the hell I HAVE watched...

Mysterious Cities of Gold
then 7-8 years later...
Ninja Scroll
Akira
Roujin-Z
3x3 Eyes
Wicked City
Golgo-13: The Professional
Golgo-13: Queen Bee
JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE (BEST BEST BEST MANGA EVER...adn a GREAT OAV)
Gundam OAV (the 3 movies)
Gundam 0083 (by far the best Gundam series out there)
Gundam Wing (ugh)
Cat Girl Nuku Nuku (!)
Miracle Girl Utena or whatever the hell that....series is called
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Outlaw Star
KEY the metal idol
Neon genesis Evangelion (damn series fucked my contra skills!)
Ruroni Kenshin OAVs (and about 80 eps, never got around to finishing it)
Flame of Recca (tons of fun, although repetitive)
FLCL
Monoke Hime
some crazy fansubbed thing that my friends and call Jungle Crack, because it makes NO SENSE
Record of Lodoss War (excellent, and it goes to show you priests/clerics are worthless)
Witch Hunter Robin (still have like 7 eps left, but great atmosphere)
Serial Experiments Lain
Nausicaa
Blood: The Last Vampire
Spirited Away (the only Miyazaki that I really enjoyed)
Kare Kano (halted after about 6 episodes because it was so terrible)
Perfect Blue
Love Hina (see previous post)
Full Metal Panic (see previous post)

hmm..I think that's it...oh yeah, 2 episodes of Hellsing figure in there somehwere...argh, all out of order

Grave of the Fireflies

Every fan of anime and great war movies should see this. It's about a boy and his sister (I believe) in WWII Japan who is just trying to survive. It's a very powerful and beautiful movie. A lot of human emotion in that one.

I liked just about every anime I have ever watched. The thing is, I wish I had more to watch. I always hear about how this show is great and that movie is awesome, but it's always something I haven't seen. I've heard of just about every anime mentioned in this whole topic, but I have only seen about one or two of them. It's sad really. But, of all the stuff that I have seen, I say my favorite was Ninja Scroll.

Well of course Grave of the Fireflies is a shoe-in, but someone already said "Anything Miyazaki".

I'll also plug Venus Wars 2100, Naruto and Full Metal Panic.

FMP is about some highschool kid who thinks everyday tasks in life are missions and he trusts no one.

Fuck guys...leave a person some movies to recommend! I can't say shit now cause all my favorites have been mentioned :)

Well how bout this...only one person mentioned the Golgo 13's. I think they're severely under-rated. If ya like anime, go rent it or something. Oh and also, is Ninja Scroll: SE worth the price of admission if you already have the original DVD?
