I'm comprising a list of local "punk pubs" (not necessarily venues) where people can go to kick back with friends and some pints. Food & Jukebox oriented. Somewhere where people can have a sit down and discuss life, know what I mean? Help me out.

well, Rip's (16th st just north of thomas) by my house is about as 'punk' as some of these places, so that should go on there. no food, but relatively cheap drinks and everytime ive been there after 8pm theres at least one gorgeous rockabilly girl. jukebox is um, in transition from the previous status as a not-very-fun bar, so its just getting there. a lot of country, 80s rock and like, sinatra.

I'm not sure I'd consider The Recovery Room a "punk-esque" type bar. Their jukebox kinda sucks.

yeah it's more of a sports bar

but it's kinda low-key and fun if you just want to shoot the shit and play pool or whatevs (and hide)
