What ever happened to Celtic Frost?
Is it true that they got lost
in the pandemonium
Never to be seen again
Tom Warrior fell from a tree in cherry orchard
Martin Ain drowned in a cold lake
Reed St. Mark went to Mega Therion
and remains there 'till this day
Tom Warrior is waiting for the emperor's return
Martin Ain's trapped in the circle of tyrants
Reed St. mark was blinded in the crypt of rays
where he remains 'till this day

"You know BornInCrimson, guys, right? The guy who hosts, like, Dwelling of Duels? I was in there with him, and Master Hatchet, that guy kicks ass. He has like these metal arrangements. But anyways. I'm trying to say...uh...I was there with these guys, and uh..."

Excellent work, Kaptain! My fave Slough Feg album is probably Hardworlder, and not just because of all the William Blake and Alfred Bester referencing. Honest.

Mike Scalzi used to sing for the splendid Hammers of Misfortune, too.

So this seems like the proper place for this. Every month or so i make a mix and sent it to my friends. I then design album art and send it off to get printed. This month I made a "Heavy Metal" mix chronicling the history of Metal from psychedelic rock to NWOBHM. I can upload it if anyone is interested or even if someone is down for some mail exchange we can talk as well. there are some popular tracks on the mix as well as some underrated classics. All Hail Heavy Metal.

Man, I've never heard of Slough Feg before now, but I really like what I just heard.

I can't believe there's never been a general Metal thread before now. It's a new era, and I like it.

"Traveller is a concept album by the American folk/power band The Lord Weird Slough Feg. The album is based on GDW's 1977 science fiction role-playing game, Traveller"

I absolutely love Slough Feg. If late 70's science fiction had a soundtrack, this would be it. Get Traveller and Hardworlder. Listen to every night while reading back issues of Heavy Metal Magazine.

ahh wow, this is some awesome stuff, gonna look into their repertoire some more

an all inclusive metal thread can't be complete without a reference to bnr metal pages

its a great encyclopedia type deal that will help you find what you need to find about metal bands, i usually use it when i hear of a band i've never heard of, good chance that they may be there. i've spent a plenty of days over the years on there, and it is awesome
