- Write every day for at least one hour.
- Play at least 5 games of SC2 each day, and stream sc2 or other games 3 days a week.
- Work out at least 3 days a week, thinking I might just flip the switch and go to 5 for maximum hardening the fuck up.
- Reduce the amount of fast food I eat.
- Reduce weed consumption to weekends only.
- Read nightly.
- Beat the Game shizzies play 3.
- And most importantly, if I make eye contact with someone smile and say something.
I'm getting psyched up for February and hardening the fuck up.
I want to mate with someone else who has a monobrow, just to see if our progeny will be born with thicker ones, and so on until our great-great-great-great-grandchildren are born with furry bookshelves on their foreheads.
and if shit goes sour... girls may come and go, but i'll always have pokemon......

The downside of hardening up academically is you get soft physically the calluses I've carried for the last decade from playing bass and working various things have disappeared and I was freaked for a while that something was wrong with my nervous system but then I realized that I was experience what it's like to have soft hands.
KEEP FIT, check!
I think the only way I can get much harder is if I shoot and eat some wild animals, I was trying to track rabbits the other day, no pot of rabbit stew at the end of the rainbow for me, thank god for food security if we had to go to the bush instead of the pantry we'd quickly learn the true meaning of hardening the fuck up.
If you intend to harden the fuck up financially, freeze your debit or credit card in a glass of water, you'll have to thaw it to make purchases, get cash and budget it, avoid the plastic, plastic is to trick you into spending blindly. Save your nickels, they're worth 7 cents as scrap now, a sign of the shit storm a brewin.

-no soda
-no beer
-no fast food
-no video games
-all meals prepared at home
-be active everyday (ie: push ups, sit ups)
-go to gym at least three days a week
-practice guitar everyday
-practice violin everyday
-finish reading at least one book
-complete two songs band wise and have them be show ready by march
i know soda and beer will be quite easy as im drinking next to nothing when it comes to soda and i've been great at limiting my self with alcohol and saving it for the ultra special occasions like magfest. fast food will be pretty easy as well but im including everything like the subways and the burgervilles, they may be a little better then the taco bells and mcdonalds, but still bad enough for february. video games will be a tad difficult but i know i can buckle down, i am allowing myself netflix and the internet on a limited basis. meals prepared at home is gonna be my hardest, i have a few ideas to work with but i still need more options. im going to aim at making healthier meals but if i at least know whats going into it, i may end up doing some less healthier things as long as i make it. getting my heart rate going everyday is a good thing, i want to break a sweat at least daily. im gonna hit the gym harder they i have, im gonna do my usual hour run on the treadmill and then work on key areas harder as well. i'm gonna get a scale and weigh myself everyday and log it and see the month results. with guitar i want to focus on a weakness i have, something i've been meaning to improve for awhile, i've got a few but still trying to decide what. i've just recently picked up the violin again and i want to ease back into it. this will be more of a relax thing as i don't want to get burned out, might learn a few video game songs. i have never been a consistent reader but i'd like to at least finish a book, im about 140 pages into jurassic park and is my front runner on book finishes. my band's got a bunch of new songs on the table, i want to buckle down and motivate the rest to get at least two of them finished and ready for march. i want to go into every band practice with focus and meaning. i'm writing all of this to hold myself accountable and to get shit done and harden the fuck up...i am pumped
I'd take Snapple's satirical pestering over your tired ass trolling ANY DAY.

Much respect armor, but there's nothing hard or manly about shooting a defenseless animal.. Hunting sucks. Level up your foraging skills instead.. Some people have fruit trees and such on their property that they have no intention of harvesting, and will let you pick them dry if you just ask. You can score hauls of organic produce that would normally cost upwards of $100!I think the only way I can get much harder is if I shoot and eat some wild animals, I was trying to track rabbits the other day, no pot of rabbit stew at the end of the rainbow for me, thank god for food security if we had to go to the bush instead of the pantry we'd quickly learn the true meaning of hardening the fuck up.
Save ALL silver coins that are pre-1964 because they're 90% silver and are worth much more than face value (My local coin shop pays 20 times the face value, so a pre-1964 nickel is worth $1!)Save your nickels, they're worth 7 cents as scrap now, a sign of the shit storm a brewin

Harden the fuck up and kill an animal. NOW!

Lol, from being shot by you? Don't think you're going to find any other such causes of suffering if you're going out to hunt!

Changing subjects, I don't know of any harder motherfuckers on the planet than free solo climbers (rock climbing without ropes):

But, the best free climbing was Ryu in the SFII anime.

We seem almost uniquely evolved to use missile weapons, might as well capitalize on the shootin' skills nature gave us, I'm sure I'll find some good mushroom patches (not in feb!) while I'm out hunting wabbits too. I don't see the big issue with eating a little animal protein now and then, life on earth is just a big circle jerk energy exchange. Modern methods of production have trained people to abuse meat to excess and take it for granted however. It's advisable to not support factory farms.
I think the rule of thumb is to graze the animal populations sustainably, this is necessary in some areas to protect other biodiversity since we upset the food chain by removing predators that were pests to ranchers and farmers.
The other rule of thumb is not to eat animals that have depth perception, unless you think it'd look nice on your wall... just kidding.

So... Dan osman is at least a close second right?Free climbing is fucking terrifying. Good luck to all them. I saw pics of that guy who free climbs buildings and it gives me shivers.
But, the best free climbing was Ryu in the SFII anime.
I don't get rattled easily, but just watching that gives me a little anxiety. Shine down on us you crazy bastard

Damn! I have many silver coins, what's a good place to take them to sell?
I also have a 1905 liberty head nickel, got it with my change at a store purchase.

I can sell my silver to my bank. I don't know what to do with old sub 99.9% silver though, find coin exchanger?

So with February coming up again, anyone planning to HARDEN THE FUCK UP this year?
Definitely. I need something to push me through this hard month. I already quit smoking a year ago. I exercise somewhat regularly. But what I really need to do is learn to defend myself. I want to be confident that if someone were to get agressive with me that I wouldn't just get my ass kicked.
My friend Mike has been offering to teach me Tae Kwon Do for a long time now (he's a black belt) but I keep putting it off for no good reason.
I think its time to take him up on that offer.
Steve from Super Guitar Bros for rocking out with us during the Bosses. Welcome to THESHIZZ family, you totally did your rite of passage by being a part of that beautiful mess
