Wow I'm level 18 and only took down one dragon. But I can take down giants with no problem. Stealth and archery. They are so dumb and never notice me. Frost trolls are difficult though

these hilary clinton-looking women must be pressing their buttholes right up against the sides of the stall and letting it rip.

icing bag style.

Went with an all-out magic High Elf. So far I'm just roasting people with destruction, but summoners are my favorites in every RPG so I've picked up a few conjuration spells.

I like the action sequence scripting, and I love the more refined combat, but I can't help but feel that the game has been dumbed down and consolized every step of the way <_< All things considered, still enjoying it bigtime, and the dungeon crawl with the Golden Talon and such was a very exciting experience.

I guess my feeling so far is that it's an awesome game, but for entirely different reasons than why Morrowind was.

Edit: Playing on PC. Anyone else bothered by it being a pain in the ass to unequip the right hand spell?

Yes! I'm annoyed that you they treat spells like weapons now; I forget which key, but there used to be one that toggled between "magic mode" and weapons, right? Also heard they completely took out custom spell crafting.. pretty bummed about that. Half the fun of Morrowind was turning on god mode and shooting fireballs the size of cities. On the bright side, spell effects are completely badass now. Used a scroll of Blizzard and it was AoE madness.

Wizwars, about the bush hogging. Just wet and part my man. Give that bush the Moses treatment and head for the Promised Land.

Whaaaaaaaaat.

Just a warning to you guys relating to werewolves and vampires, you can't be both at the same time, and apparently there is a glitch that even if you get cured of one you can't become the other. Choose wisely. Though there probably will be a patch out soon fixing the permanence so that you can try both.

I take it you have strict restrictions on when you are allowed to use save states then? I generally only use them for accidents like the one you described, but if I was actually trying to break in/steal and I got caught, I live with the consequences.

had my first totally random dragon encounter today...holy shit. i got WORKED.

and i cant believe im even saying this...but with all the people i know/sort of know playing this right now, i wish there was some sort of in game social aspect to check each others characters out/trade. and i HATE mmos normally. THIS GAME IS CHANGING MY VERY WAY OF LIFE. it is kinda neat since my brother and i are both playing and so far comparing notes shows some pretty seriously different directions. i love video games

copying from what i said in an irc

[21:15] <+Paragon> i went the wrong direction and DRAGON then somehow right near the dragon awoke a skeleton wizard who was stronger than the dragon
[21:15] <+Paragon> it was a fucking epic battle
[21:16] <+Paragon> we were pushed to the edge of a cliff and the skeleton wizard fell off
[21:16] <+Paragon> and i tried to plink him off with magic from above, but he blasted me and i lost my balance and fell down too
[21:16] <+Paragon> then we battled on the steepest cliff in all the land
[21:16] <+Paragon> and i chased his torso down the mountain to collect the spoils

Decided I wanted to try out a magic character, and boy am I glad I did. Went High Elf and I've been dual casting destruction spells for the most part. I love the continual flow of magic that spills out of your hands for the Destruction spells. It just feels so much more satisfying than a fireball or single lightning bolt type of thing.

This character is coming along nicely and I haven't met much of a challenge until I came across a

Speaking of those sorts of things, has anyone else gone through the Companion's mission set yet? I was surprised to see

I got to the point where they wanted to invite me into their ranks, but from a role-playing standpoint, it just didn't seem like the sort of thing my mage would do, so I just left them standing there and went on to something else.

Oh in Whiterun, behind the throne and up the stairs are several bookshelves. I went through every book in the keep and on those shelves are two books that start sidequests.

I'll probably continue the main quest in a few days.

Holy balls this is so much fun. Around level 6 and just became the Thane of Whiterun. Playing a Dark Elf thief with one hand for a sword and one hand for casting.

So good so far. I love the new leveling system. Also, my favorite thing about this game: NO ITEM WEAR! REPAIRING ITEMS ISN'T FUCKING FUN! THANK YOU BETHESDA!

I have been working one of those quests from the books in Whiterun. It took me all over the world so far. And chalk up a 4th dragon encounter/kill for me and only at level 9.

Does anyone think it is a bad idea to disenchant a seemingly unique weapon?

At first when I noticed repairing was gone, I was all "BOOHOO THEY TOOK SHIT OUT" then I was all "FUCk RPEAIR" then I was all "CRAFTING?!" then I was all "B)"

Right now I've got the difficulty on medium, and it leaves me wondering: are the NPCs weak in this game, or is casting overpowered? If I 2-hand the charge up fireball it kills most enemies I encounter in one hit.

Work sucks, I just want to slay the dragons.
