Shawn, do you know of a source for other KPM albums? The one blog I was getting them from last years seems to have shut down.

Oh my gooood, this Andy Clark album. THANKS, SHAWN!!

5 or 6 albums worth of andy clark here (adding more as i go, its tough though :( ill get it all one day tho)

now uploading doris norton shit to this dir, startin with the 'nortoncomputerforpeace lp from 1983

this shit is serious next level to me. i think doris norton was the first person endorsed by apple way, way back in the way. this stuff is like synth mixed with, who the fuck knows what. i wish i coulda been around back then. top serious awesomeness.

this thread has caused me to seriously start mining on this shit, im getting so much that i cant post it all in this thread, only what i can get reuploaded so just keep an eye here for more.

klepperderep @ youtube

this guy's got a ton of great shit on his page, i pasted this on facebook but check it out here.

THESE FRENCH PEOPLE GO OFF! like what kind of prog fairlight shit is this? timesigs, what?

Thanks for the Andy Clark, that shit is delicious!

Also thanks for posting this Jean-Philippe Rykiel. I'm loving what I'm hearing.

let me know if you have any probs finding the cybotron. be warned that its the australian cybotron, and not the juan atkins cybotron. i have their stuff except the 7"s. there was never any footage on yt until now, the nephew of the keyboardist posted that.

i'm gonna post more stuff, right now im just researching. that doris norton stuff is really good i think too. im also meeting a lot of cool people on slsk finding this music.

I managed to locate some decent rips of Colossus and Implosion, but if you have anything else from Cybotron I'll gladly take it!

So this thread got me interested in checking out some synthpop (and related) bands. Didn't like most of what I found, ended up gravitating toward the classic 80s stuff by the end of the night. Major nostalgia trip. Did find a couple artists I liked, though:

I thought someone called "Ladyhawke" would be a forgettable third-rate pop tart, but she has more of an 80s rock chick sound that I'm digging.

I haven't checked out much of this guy's work yet but this video seems promising.
