To be fair, I meant to use ":P" instead of ":D" in that "7/4" post, so it was probably harder to decipher my meaning.

I think this board is pretty well-schooled in the works of Casiopea and T-Square. What I'm really interested in are songs/artists that have similar vibes to those [vibes] exhibited in songs like "Omens of Love," "Fantastic Story," and "Space Road." Squariopea are no longer enough.

Thanks a ton to DBurk for introducing us to Kazumi Watanabe! Highest-level stuff! This is newly one of my favorite songs of all time. I want more of THIS. KRAZY CHEDDAR MELODIES PLEASE.

Who can direct us to more glorious cheddar?

I think this genre is pretty much incapable of sucking.

Sorry to mention more T-Square (I should be looking into discovering more artists of their likeness instead) but I've been listening A LOT to the latest T-Square, "Nine Stories" that just came out this year.

FUCK I LOVE THIS ALBUM.

Post all the T-Square you want. Regardless of what Jace said, I don't think everyone posting in here has actually digested their entire discography.

Indeed, moony. My perception is clouded by the numerous threads that exist on T-Square & Casiopea-esque topics (damn, I need to re-up that megamix). I was thinking that focusing on those two acts would be rehashing old news but of course I think it rules if people discover and enjoy them from this or any thread! Also thread subtitle.

^see also "let"

The only album I can find info on from these guys doesn't sound much like this at all. :(

Good to see this thread - T-Square and Casiopea are kind of almost there/hit or miss for me, so I hope to find some gems here.

ran across this today while looking for something else:

Featuring an actual 12-year-old Japanese schoolgirl on drums. I feel a little like I accidentally walked into Scott Pilgrim's universe.
