You know what? This song does have a sorta J-Fusiony vibe. Especially in terms of how the melody is written. There's this dreamy quality to it.

I'm surprised I can't find any evidence of Masayoshi Takanaka fervor on theshizz outside of a passing yardgnome mention in the Yanni thread. This album in particular is an absurdly fun shred fest that focuses on the guitar a lot without losing sight of the "fun" in "funk."
