Giving away big heavy things on CL is a pain. I wasted more than a day waiting for flake after flake to come pick up a TV and not a single person showed up or even had the consideration to tell me they were backing out of it.

I've found it easier to sell stuff than give it away. List if for $10 and see if anyone bites.

The BNC adapters are here and allowed me to determine that both S-Video and composite are still B/W only while component is In Living Color. It looks great on component but 8" is just too small for me. Whether I fix it or not I'll turn it into local trade bait.

Anybody here have the HD Retrovision component cable for Model 2 Genesis + the adapter for Saturn that they're willing to part with? Or a SCART to component thang (like OSSC)?

My mother in law gave me a small CRT the other day! I don't have anywhere to use it right now, so it's just in storage. No remote, but it has S Video! Can't wait to get it somewhere where I can start using it.

Played a really fun and well-curated vintage game expo on Long Island today. A special treat was an FM Towns Marty connected to a 10" JVC pvm and damn that was a life experience.

Depends. Did those CRTs have component or RGB inputs? Even just s-video? Anyone dropping a composite-only TV on my doorstep is getting a kick to the groin.

Especially ones from the early 2000s that need the remote to do ANYTHING.

Good composite still looks decent! Composite CRT is better than no CRT. But for real at least s-video...

I already have 4 CRTs that accept component and/or RGB. I don't need composite!
