Phantom Dust (Xbox One remaster) - Free. Cult classic my ass. This feels like a tiny sliver of a much bigger game that was being planned. The game is a weird and unique take on combining ideas behind collectible card games with action gameplay. That said, the gameplay is kind of a huge, flawed mess. Got through maybe 40% of the single player and realized that I'd just be repeating the same thing for another 10 hours then turned it off. I know some people at work who speak pretty fondly of playing this game back in the day, but I think it's one of those "you had to have been there" kind of things since they played the multiplayer in the earlier days of online console gaming.

Yeah, i liked it alright back when it came out, but not a ton. thought it was cool they were going to do a new one but the remaster seems like a crappy consolation prize. i cant imagine the gameplay holding up 15 years later

Started Snake Pass.

Seems pleasant enough, but the checkpointing can die in a fire.

That's what scared me away after reading the reviews.

Oh man, that would fit perfectly with the 2017 16-bit challenge. I may very well give this a try too!

Yeah that demo was too quick. I'm sure it will be fun but the demo didn't tell me much other than there will be both Marvel and Capcom characters in it.

That 3v3 2D DBZ fighter game has stolen the little enthusiasm that I had for the new MvC game. Hopefully it turns out good and I get the bug again. But, as it stands now, I'd rather just wait for the DBZ one.

I can't wait for the DBZ game. I think it's amazing that we're actually finally going to get a serious fighter out of it.

Now I just gotta start watching Super to catch up on the lore.

I'm enjoying the Miitopia demo.  Please give me QR codes and friends codes so that Shizztopia may happen.  I need to dig up the Miitomo thread, too.  Those QRs can be scanned, it seems.

Victor Vran was on sale on steam and since I don't really have any games like it I grabbed it. Pretty fun hack(shoot)-and-slash(shootmorelol)topdowndungeoncrawllootfest.

Well, I played through one of those hidden object games. It's baffling how many of these artifex mundi alone has on Steam, and they keep cranking more out.
They must be doing okay for them.

Also Hitman now has a demo that consists of the 2 tutorial levels.
You guys should try it out and buy it afterwards.
