I want to play it too, but I'm also kind of worn out on Rygar-manias from 2018.

SarahWK and i started celeste. It's so so so good. God i'm in love with the soundtrack. I didn't realize there is a pretty interesting story with it, too. I thought it was gonna be a shallow platformer but i'm stoked that there is more to it. S T R A W B E R R I E S

Guac 2 is very good. It's pretty much more of the first game but with a few additions and tweaks here and there. It didn't really feel like it was just rehashing though.

I did some item collecting in Symphony of the Night, which I've never really done before.

  • Crissaegrim: As awesome and overpowered as everyone says
  • Murasama: Don't want to grind the blood heals to get this up to 999 ATK, but it's a cool idea.
  • Muramase/Yasustuna Katanas: Not really worth grinding for since you can get the Osafune Katana so much more easily, and it does the same "Shadow Warp" special move. The Yasutsuna's ability to attack while walking is nice, but if I have to grind for a sword that does that, it'd be the Crissaegrim.  I'd put the Alucard Sword in the other hand for the Shadow Warp attack.
  • God's Garb: Very good armor, but much easier to just get the Walk Armor and visit all of the map.
  • Ring of Varda: Best stat-boosting accessory in the game, so it's probably worth it, and not too difficult to get I suppose.

Last time I played SOTN I got a Crissaegrim without trying within like an hour or two of starting the game. Made the rest of the game very easy!

With REmake 2 coming out later this month, I'd figured I'd spend the $12 (on sale) to get the RE7 season pass and try out some DLC. There's some decent stuff in there. End of Zoe is particularly memorable. You play as Jack's brother, Joe, as you punch zombies to death. There are a few extra weapons (e.g. throwing spears, bombs), but punching is your one true weapon. It's great. There should be more Resident Evil like this.

I got Dead Cells for Switch. It's been on my List since before it came out, and said list needs me to actually buy something, so I went ahead.

When I started, I was pretty bored because you fight through tons and tons of enemies that can't hardly touch you, and therefore the combat didn't feel satisfying at all. That's worse, you don't build up the skills that let you survive when you actually find something difficult. I would have preferred harder enemies with shorter levels.

However, I think the point is to blow through things as fast as you can. There are doors that lock after so many minutes of that game, behind which are huge rewards. Every game a speed run. Which is fine. It just means the base combat isn't very deep.

The said, I kind of bounced off of Nuclear Throne and Gungeon, so I might actually like this more. I might end up liking it more than Rogue Legacy too. Only time will tell.

Just started it tonight. Not sure if I like it...? Made it to Forgotten Sepulcher on my 3rd run. Seems like this is going to feel really, really repetitive. Enemies/bosses also feel like damage sponges if you don't have good enough gear.

I loved Rogue Legacy BTW. That one gripped me immediately.

I just started Dark Souls Remastered, and I'm enjoying my suffering so far. It's been a balance of that, DQXI, Marble It Up, Smash, The Messenger, and Hollow Knight. And lots of Lumines which I don't usually count because that gets played all the time.

Playing Ys VI for the first time.

I'm kinda conflicted about it, i like the setting and the characters (good music, sometimes with questionable instrument choices)

But grinding, and the small dungeons made the game seem so repetitive so far, i hope it picks up soon enough.

I'm around 2~3hrs in.

Just killed the boss at the top of the grana villa mountain.

i just started Final Fantasy XV after having given it a try or two a few years ago but couldn't get sucked in past the training. now I'm sucked in and really loving it. I love the world and the exploration aspects of it. i also really love the bounty hunting stuff. however i hate everything involving the stupid car that you have to drive around and just sit in while moving between towns

also I want to fuck cindy

I got a bug up my ass to play some racing games, so I got a copy of Gran Turismo 5 for PS3, and have been playing through that. Man, you CAN'T drive a car like you do in Mario Kart!  Trying to learn when to downshift while breaking on a sharp corner is probably the hardest thing I'm trying to learn how to do.

That being said, I'm very bad at this game, but I am enjoying it. Lots of smooth J-JAZZ in those menu screens.

My two cars so far are a white Miata and a blue Impreza WRX.
