man, gradius 2 is so awesome! really would like to hear that bass more though, it's such a hot bassline. also, wouldn't mind hearing stage 3, or anything else from that soundtrack.

oh, and if you guys love playing live so much, it'd be amazing if you'd do a show sometime between may 25 and june 5 cos I'll be back in the states for a visit.

Here are three more videos from our second show. One of the cameras stopped recording randomly so the cuts in some may feel weird but oh well! Hope you enjoy!

Oh man. That means a lot to me! Thanks so much! I absolutely love the drums in Mega Man 5. Ton of Dancy as hell hi hat rhythms. One day I would love for us to do the last boss and ending theme music.

haha so much criticism on Vic Viper and KDB for not having "energy."  You guys know that stuff is just acting, right?  Enjoy the music!

aw maaaaan! i'm just stopping by to say that i fully support this band! i hope to see a live performance someday before i die. also, you know you're an official vgm band when you cover wily stage 1! and I mean that in the best way, with no disrespect or sarcasm. this is all solid right here. gofer no yabou 'n' shi'! ^_^ <3 also, fuck whatever ppl are saying about energy. i'm hearing and seeing enough energy. obviously they don't know what it takes to get such good quality and accuracy while performing vgm... LIVE!

That's not what I meant, I meant the crowd needed to move to the music

yea that energy shit is PISSING me off

that stuff IS just acting. hello!

every band that plays hard stuff moves around a lot less. who are these people???

GOD YES.

if i may suggest a cherry on top of all this, i would say go for fatter tones on the synth. it can be a hard balance, but there is a less safe, but way beneficial height to reach if one goes beyond chippy patches. the chips sound good enough, but you can really rock the world with some big mono synths like wakeman and emerson.

i love this band and those HQ videos are bad ass!

first of all, funky fm music just really does it for me.  Even if it's something corny like early mariah carey I can get way into the music with the fm bass and keys going on.   Then, there's everything else in this song.  The enigmatic title.  The synth programming brings out all the right emotional responses in me:  leads that remind me of thunderforce (even if the portamento isn't quite as exaggerated), chording synths that remind me of very old and charming genesis osts like super monaco (except somehow they don't sound as flimsy here), and of course a solid bass.  Great original motifs, interesting harmonies, good melody, rhythm.. everything that can make a song great is here!

I'll second that suggestion. It sounds great as is, but don't be afraid to play with that synth sound some more.
