I resent Dark Souls being called ugly, but by all means I can understand that, considering it's almost 8 years old at this point and realistic-looking graphics have improved a lot since then. However, if she's into lore then the DS dive is just fantastic. I'd throw Shovel Knight in there, too, since it's just awesome all over and the story/characters are whimsical and fun, especially considering that Treasure Trove has all the expansions included in it and it just gets better. Plague Knight's arc is adorable and the art style across the board is great, although maybe not artsy enough?

Sounds like you already got the stuff, but Hyper Light Drifter really fits that profile as long as she's into Souls-ish environmental storytelling. Gorgeous art, great music, fun combat.
Wizwars, about the bush hogging. Just wet and part my man. Give that bush the Moses treatment and head for the Promised Land.

Bought and played through World of Final Fantasy. Much more enjoyable than the turd that was Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition.
I've cleared the game, got the true ending, and now working through some of the maxima bonus content which is all hella hard. Need to still beat the ex dungeons, the super powered Big Bridge Intervention Quest, & the sealed dragon plus a few other things i'm forgetting. i'm at level 60 and trying to grind some new mirages up to comparable levels to see if I can come up with a better stack than what I used to initially clear the game (pale tone berry, twin, war machine, and cactaur, twin, crimson majitek armor). I didn't really mess with the XL summons until the end boss, wish i would've easier because bahamut is the tits.
I really enjoyed all the little tie ins to previous FF games, even if i was fast forwarding almost every instance of dialogue (i just don't care for the slow pace of listening to the spoken dialogue).
