I think Trohnics! is being a smartass and probably owns a furby.

Wii U controls. I hope I can remap that ABXY layout. And invert the analog sticks if necessary.

One of my favorite parts of Twilight Princess was that the Gorons had visible, rock-hard stone nipples. From the trailer it looks like Breath of the Wild may be the same way. Definitely stoked to view some more sexy Goron nurps.

Goron nipples aside, I haaaaaated Twilight Princess. Well...more accurately, I realized I hate it when I revisited it. I liked it when I played it at Launch, I liked it a lot more than I remembered liking it on my second play through, and I just went through and replayed the HD remake and fucking hated it. I did nothing but complain the whole time. Maybe I'm just becoming a crotchety old man. Or maybe it's just actually a bad game hahaha

Soundtrack is fucking great though

I think Wind Waker is the only 3D Zelda I've still enjoyed replays of.

i just realized i haven't finished a new (console)  Zelda since Ocarina

the sailing in WW made me feel like 'eh, i've gotten my fill of this, i basically consider this the end'

TP bored me with its formulaic business

never even played SS

The sailing in WW made me bored the first time I played it, especially when you have to collect all the trifoce pieces. But then I played it again and realized it's not that bad. When I played WWHD it didn't bother me either but the game as a whole didn't wow me as much.

I think in general 3D Zelda games just don't hold up to repeated playthroughs for me. Or maybe I just have to wait a really long time to play them. I've loved all of them (except SS which I haven't played) the first time through. OOT on 3DS was nice because it had been like 20 years since I played it.

A preview embargo was lifted and I read a few. The consensus, so far, is that:

- the world is huge

- there's a TON of things to do

- The atmosphere is quiet and somewhat peaceful

- This is the HARDEST Zelda ever made

I've enjoyed every Zelda to some degree except spirit tracks. I should replay Phantom Hourglass cause I remember really enjoying the way the central temple was the main dungeon that you progressively reach deeper levels of as the game goes on

Windwaker sailing isn't bad on Wii U because they sped it up.  It was originally so slow because of hardware limitations and loading the environment.  I wonder if I can at least beat WW before BotW comes out.

Yeah, my 2nd attempt at WW was actually enjoyable. I'd rather replay it than any other 3d Zelder except a link between worlds, if that counts.

I might break down and buy an amiibo for this fucking game.

I think the only Zelda Amiibo I have is the regular OOT style Link. I'm out of room on my TWO (2) Amiibo display stands though, so I don't want any more right now. But the Amiibo features sound pretty similar to other games, useful but not necessary and nothing too crazy from using them.

I caved and bought the 8-bit Link the other day at Target.  It was too awesome not to.
