Amazing! And I didn't even know an accurate piano display existed!

I play drums, Make Video Games, and eat Hamburgers.

Thanks bucky. I loved the idea and work Kirby did on that. May he now RIP in peace here, finally, and live on in Facebook forevermore.

Not sure if the quote will work since I'm mobile and this is being weird, but re: Piano display,
I JUST learned about the virtuaNES nsf player, right before making this video!
But there is another piano display I've been using for years which is less pretty but also better in other ways- NSFplay. I prefer the standalone version, it's my favorite NSF player. It also has like a data display above the keyboard showing you the volume, duty cycles/ settings, etc. It also color codes expansion voices to help distinguish them better.

Both players don't clearly visualize when two voices hit the same key (though with nsfplay, it's also telling you the notes above so it's not as important). But still, since nsfplay doesn't light up the whole key and just places dots on them, I wish those dots would stack vertically, instead of overlapping/ occupying the same space.

The NSFPlay Synesthesia fork is my favorite NSF piano roll display: http://famitracker.c...sts.php?id=4220

I'm imagining Ellis writing the script to this at a computer, and every time he gets to the end of a line about religion being bad he smacks his fedora to tip it, making the sounds of a typewriter being reset.

Hooky fuck I picked a great taco Bell. The woman at the front of the line is painstakingly asking every price, she just ordered a cheesy horror crunch with just cheese and sorcery nothing else, Questor with just beef nothing else, one soft Teddi with 3x cheese, double sour Satan, nothing else. Quivering now the man behind her orders a taxi BVSc to Yusuf Khan, two tweaks with dignity Leuven and no beef??? And a cheesy fissure crunch with extra extra Chertsey and chickenpox nothing else. Fucking hell people it's taco vein not your last meal on earth

I <3 NSFplay. Once I realized it existed and there were similar methods of channel isolation and note tracking for other chips, I immediately hated myself for recording an entire EP of covers by ear. The drummer of that band was able to isolate some of the parts for me on some of the tracks, but mostly it was all listening and hours of frustration.

I gotta check out virtuaNES

Bucky, it's people like you that are putting good honest hard working musicians like kirby in the poor house with behavior like this

+1 for NSFPlay!

This is such a cool side-by-side comparison, with the pianos.
