In my endless search for pure Rock and Roll, I came across a treasure on the Internet, a youtube channel called NWOTHM Full Albums. It stands for New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal, which is exactly what it sounds like. Riffs, Licks, Solos, Normal Singing, Dynamic Drumming.....and more Riffs.

The bands on this channel will change the cynical mind that Rock is dead. It is alive, and is coming back like a pendulum swinging in between Indy Alternative and Animals as Leaders

I'm not much a fan of revivals because they emulate things of old to a fault IMO.  If you want Rock done right in this day and age, listen to Mutoid Man.

I will say as far as revivals go, Sumerlands does a damn good job.

You'll have to recruit MYG to transport hundreds of posts from the Metal thread over here.

Spellcaster has been a pillar of Portland's Metal scene, specifically of the Trad route

they've recently sadly RIPed but 4 our 5 members are continuing under a different name.

Visigoth are a fine example of justifiable grand Traditio met.

this song is a repeater for sure, just a fine album and all the members of the band are super swell and nice and like my band, so i'm probably biased.  The Goods

I'd take Snapple's satirical pestering over your tired ass trolling ANY DAY.

Sumerlands rocked my socks off. But I cant help thinking what the music would sound if Ozzy was the lead singer, lol. I do that with alot of bands actually. Great riffs great tone

NWOTHM Full Albums is solid fucking gold.

I discovered this album recently, "Win Lose or Draw" around 30:50 delivers the Lizzy vibes!

I remember when this video came out. It was the tune that made me aware of NWOTHM's existence back when it was all about the new wave of THRAYSH.

Thing is with these guys they've got nothing to prove. No posers to kill, no one-upsmanship, no Flock of Seagulls to shit on.
