Not. A. Fan.

WHAT?!

OK here's something that is going to stir up some shit:

Chicago or New York?

I really love both. I'm going to give Chicago a slight edge for now because it only recently became available to me so there's a novelty to it.

A while back when Mr. Weener visited me in LA, I ordered us a vegan deep dish pizza, which was his first time eating it. The next time he visited, first thing when he's through the door is "Can you get me another one of those deep dish pizzas?"

Sicilian!

I've never had any of the Chicago styles, but I'd keep an open mind!

pretty much every style of pizza has merits, i just always poke fun at deep dish because its really like a whole other thing to me. doesnt mean it isnt tasty. the only style i know of that i haven't had coincidentally also sounds like the worst: St Louis

a corner Sicilian slice is pretty amazing but i don't know of any places near me that have it on a regular enough basis that i can rely on; a few do it as a special but theres no schedule for it :(

Chicago deep dish is basically lasagna in pizza form. And I approve.

these hilary clinton-looking women must be pressing their buttholes right up against the sides of the stall and letting it rip.

if youre from the west coast your opinion on pizza is completely invalid. also chicago style is not "pizza". its some kind of bullshit casserole.

Backin Brodan up on this. The further you get from the NJ/NY/PA Pizza nexus the more fucked up it gets. Our trashy Italian-American density is off the rails and cheap delicious pizza is the fringe benefit. Mig and Mike can attest to how good the $8 pies around the corner from me are, and while south philly has plenty of crusifix clad Italian men walking around, a lot of Nyc and NJ hits even harder.

Gonna throw this in here for old times
https://lordmachino....-pizza-no-party

Edit:i will add that a lot of places around me go heavier on crust than I’d prefer but at least the sauce and cheese game is on point. The goopy overgrased NJ slice is absolutely my god damn business
