If you could only play games from the NES library of Capcom or Konami, which would you choose? Any specific games that seal the deal for you? Going strictly off of what is coming to mind right now, I think Konami would take the cake for me. Mega Man is good 'n all, but I think I enjoy the challenge of Castlevania more.

I'm bad at NES Castlevania games, so...

DuckTales is uniquely satisfying in a mental and tactile way. I'll play it over and over in a fugue or zen state.

Konami by a long shot. Are we including the Ultra games in that?

Either way, so many good 2p options. Contras, TMNTs, Jackal, Life Force, Monster in My Pocket etc

And then for single player you have bangers such as CV, Metal Gear, Rollergames, Yume Penguin Monogatari, Akumajou Special, Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa etc

Music is also hands down Konami.

I used to be a die hard Capcom guy tho, mostly cus of Mega Man and their SNES catalog.

Use 800 gigabytes of samples, I give approximately 0 gigafucks.

Where does Mario poop in the airship? Behind his chair? In Cappy?

I feel like this is an easy "Konami". A quick revealed 30-some good-to-great Konami games, and only about 20-ish Capcom games of similar quality. I guess it's not a landslide, but the answer fairly quickly for me.

i cross'd a barrier into SCOOPvilLe yesterday and dunked with the best jammers and fresh dip ballers roundabout through an awesome bomb dunk party.

Yeah totally

Natsume vs Sunsoft might be a tough one too? Sunsoft probably wins THAT battle. But that choice might even be a tougher call than the OP!

You can like both the NESkimos AND the Minibosses.

But i dunno, probably Konami?

Better shooters (Gradius, LifeForce, Falsion, Crisis Force), better run n' guns (Contra, Super C, Jackal), better beat em ups (TMNT), but i think Capcom has the edge on platformers.

"Team Irem". This thing was created for an audience of like ten people :P The Hebereke finish on Kirby was darn clever, though.

This is not an easy choice, but I'm gonna have to go with Capcom.
