i remember someone telling me to put a slice of swiss on my grilled cheese sandwiches because it would be a mind blower.

i did so.

it was a mind blower.

i don't always do it but it's so tasty when i do.  especially since i almost always use sharp cheddar.

Swiss is in that zone where you think it'll be a harder cheese that wouldn't melt that great, but in actuality when it melts the flavor increases and it gets a subtle melty pull effect, it's a great cheese.

Swiss is my go to for scrambled eggs because of the power unlocked from its god tier meltiness.

The only cheese I've ever liked in scrambled eggs or omelettes has been feta, anything else turns to snot.

Get your embryos out of here.

I agree that Swiss is good on a grilled cheese. But it's not a flavor I crave very frequently.

The key is putting the cheese on at the very last moment, not into the egg mix.  I've never made snotty eggs using this method.

I just don't like the texture of melted gooey or stringy cheese in my eggs, feta melts very creamy and blends in with the eggs giving them a great flavor,

Has anybody tried a grilled cheese with ezikiel bread? Don't. I did a couple years ago when it was all we had; it was revolting and unnecessarily heavy. I felt sick afterwards.

Forgive me if something similar was already discussed. I'm not a bread expert.

andreas and matsu - whence i next make eggs for you, you will be utterly astonished at the complete and total lack of goo, string, or snot consistency with my putting of cheese in at the scrambling portion of the cooking process.

GUARANTEED.

I refuse to eat anyone's eggs but my own. Eggs are very personal in nature, nobody does it as well as you do it for yourself, very much like handjobs.
