Hey all, I figured I'd post this here since the shows forum is saturated with spamshit lately.
A friend of a friend is behind this documentary about Karp, playing this Friday at FilmBar.
Here's some details:
"Kill All Redneck Pricks a Documentary Film about a Band Called KARP" Phoenix, AZ Premier is being held on Thursday, January 19th at Film Bar.
"Kill All Redneck Pricks: A Documentary Film about a Band Called KARP" is the story of three friends overcoming odds through rock n' roll music.
Set in the Pacific Northwest against the backdrop of the Olympia, WA post punk and Riot girl movements of the early 90's, the film details the joys and tragedies of a band called KARP !
"Kill All Redneck Pricks" is the biography of a friendship... because ultimately the sound a band makes is the sound of their friendship.
Film also includes The Whip, Big Business, Melvins, Beat Happening, Calvin Johnson, Kimya Dawson, Kathleen Hanna, Joe Preston and many others!
