Upon reading the MetalBishop memorium topic I've come to a realization. Asside from a few super-regular posters, we as a group don't really know much about each other. In an effort to make the internet a little smaller, post whatever little known facts about yourself that haven't come up yet. I'm talking favorite movies, favorite bands, if you play any instruments, awesome stories involving you, where you work/go to school, how long you've been a bossie, things like that.

My name is Kyle but people call me Kyle.
I like Rush, Queen, VG music (particularily minibosses), Rage against the machine, and a bewildering variety of music that encompasses just about everything with the exception of country music.
I can't decide what my favorite games are. I don't watch much TV
I enjoy movies about zombies or Hunter S Thompson.
Riders (my oldest friend) showed me the minibosses about 5 years ago and I've been hooked since.
I play bass guitar. I dabble in guitar and double bass.
I was in a band with Riders and 2 other local guys. We played RATM, Rush, a few VG covers, and some sparse original material. We have now been fragmented by geography and time restraints.
I'm now an engineering undergrad and I hope to work on something sweet like ROBOTS.
Some goals I have in life are to find a good woman, build my own house and have a library.
I may drink too much but I'm sure I won't let it get out of control.

How did you become a Bossie?: A friend told me about this band that played righteous Nintendo covers. I checked them out and started posting on the (new) forum shortly after that. Nietslaf threatened to report me to the FBI and Aaron told him to shut up, and I've been a fan ever since then.
Play any instruments?: Yup, guitar (for 10 years, but I suck) and bass (for 1 year, but I suck). I couldn't solo to save my life.
In a band?: Would like to start one, but working overnights (especially Fridays and Saturdays) precludes that. Have been in several bands before. (Torrents here.)

Top 5 bands: Nine Inch Nails, Paul McCartney, Ashane (if he counts as a band), Michael Jackson (yeah he's Lester-Lester the Child Molester, but don't be dissin his music, unless it's from the Invincible album; blah!), and minibosses (Just for their Ninja Gaiden cover; awesome!).

Watch T.V.?: Yes, the box is in my room, what of it? Oh, you wanna know what I watch? Ok, ummmm. Tommy Lee Goes to College was good. Teen Titans is awesome. I'm getting into the Naruto anime (hey, they're doin' better than the One Piece anime, right?). WWE Raw is recorded on a religous basis (I hope that TNA coming to Spike TV will put the creative fire under WWE's ass. Is this the new Monday Night Wars I smell?). Hogan Knows Best is decent, although I haven't watched too much of it to tell yet. That's all I can think of for the moment.
How did you become a Bossie?: Well, a funny thing happened on Google one day (as it always seems to happen). I was really into the synthy sounding remixes at this point in time because of my love for NIN. I searched for "Video Game Music Bands", and after much searching, I stumbled onto the minibosses' site. From there, I discovered DoD, Ninjascape, and The Shizz. Ahh, the good ol' days. I have yet to see the 'Bosses live, but I never say never. I hope to show up at MAGfest in January for my first minibosses experience.
Play any instruments?: I'm learning to play guitar right now. I wanna learn bass when I get my dad's stuff. I also wanna get a drum set when I get the money (probably after MAGfest). My dad taught me some stuff on the keyboard, nothing much though.
In a band? (include webpage if available): Well, as everyone, their mommy, and even grammy knows, I'm in the band ODK. ODK is short for Oof Da Kitty. According to legend, the name originates from my littlest bro always saying "oof!" all the time. Word leaked as is always does. Our guitar player, BioHazard B, got wind of it and added his own take to it. And thus, Oof Da Kitty was born! Just fairly recently, we started up another project: Team Bio. It involves B's car, which is his namesake, knowhatimean? The ODK info can be found on my site. Expect Team Bio info to follow shortly.
Job: McDonald's. I basically live there for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I've been doin' it for 3 years come Halloween. I'm primarily a grill person, but they've been putting me in the presentor's spot (for those who don't know McDonald's lingo, a presentor is the dood or doodete who gives you your food in drive-thru). I like to present; It's fun and mindless.
School: I go to ITT Technical Institute in Dayton twice a week, majoring in Web Design (unless I wanna go to Software Applications).
Life Goals: I wanna move to someplace nice and warm, but not scorching, and have a kool job makin' lots of money doin' what I like to do and have a girlfriend whose not only my babe, but my best friend too.
Random facts and stories you can think of involving you:
-I wear my watch on my right hand, but I'm right-handed.
-My dad is my musical inspiration. I really miss him. He died about a year ago from literally drinking himself to death. He was my best friend as well as my dad. I remember that we used to watch DBZ together; me, my bro, and my dad. We even developed a theory about time travel by watching the Cell saga. I even typed (as in typewriter, he had no computer) a DBZ fanfic called DragonBall-X (which will be renamed DragonBall-XS so it won't be confused with the hentai DragonBall-X). I will finish it when I get possession of all of my dad's stuff and our stuff as well. You see, he didn't leave a will, so it's almost scrambles. But, my aunt wants to sell his stuff to pay off his funeral. I want to keep the majority of his stuff to preserve his legacy and to hopefully, learn to play guitar and bass. Music was his life, and I want to carry it on after his death not just because I want to keep him alive, but to start a new direction in life for myself as well.
This is all that I can think of at the moment. I'll edit this post when I think of more.

How did you become a Bossie?: virt sent me this shred thing he was doing a while back. then, some months later, i found out that it was an actual regular contest and decided to check it out, had a listening party at my place, saw the bosses the first time at PAX, and the rest is history in the making. i had heard the minibosses quite some time ago but never knew there was a community surrounding their exploits.
Play any instruments?: bass guitar, keyeboards/piano, a little electric guitar, a little accordian, mandolin, the voice, little drums, and a little chapman stick.
In a band? (include webpage if available): nope. not in years.
Job: manager at a healthcare company doing disease management
School: pursuing masters degree in business at university of phoenix (estimated finish: february/march 2006)
Life Goals: become a voice actor. or open a full-time recording studio. or be a full-time composer of music for games/movies/whatever. or all of the above.
Random facts and stories you can think of involving you: i sing in two barbershop quartets. i've been an "altar boy" for 25 years, and now i train them. i'm a fledgling addict to recording equipment. i built a professional poker table from scratch. music is everything to me; without it, life would be meaningless.

Job: Nothing right now. I was working a shitty grocery store casheier job over the summer though.
School: I'm not in school at the moment, but exactly one week from today I leave for Japan for a study abroad. I'll be living there for a year. SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW!
Life Goals: Right now, my goal is to just have a good time in Japan. Learn the language, meet people, go to concerts, play lots of awesome videogames.
