Sweet. I'd buy those. I like the way FFIII looks, though I don't care for the CC character models, they should've used original ones.

I'm excited to see that picture of Yang and Edward/Gilbert on the Moon....makes me hope one can keep playing with certain characters to the end. That said, I still hate Gilbert.

i've always wanted yang to stay in the team. just think of the possibilites. I could finally make ff4 harder by having a team of scrubs

And hey, if anyone actually bought a GB Micro, it looks like FFIV will have a faceplate to go with it.

The answer would be yes.
I think IV was the first FF to have characters with last names...then again I never played II or III.

Colin, Matsu, and I went to a Fat party where everyone was pretty fat and I went to get a beer and this fat girl sat between Colin and Matsu on the futon and she sank while they were boosted up.
That party also had Fat Kareshi and we were all excited so when we left I said "bye Fat Kareshi!!" and he was all like "huaghaughahhaha byeeeeeee"

Mmm, roots of Final Fantasy. The FF I and II remakes were pretty good, but a little easy (especially the first one). FF III remake looks pretty nice... I actually like the Crystal Chronicles-like look to the characters. As for the FF IV, V, and VI ports/remakes... mmm. It's been so long since I've played IV and VI, I'm excited to see how they turn out.

Really? Are you sure? I know for a fact that in the english manual (FFII), they never mentioned last names. In the FFIV part of the FF Chronicles manual, they left off the last names as well.

their last names are mentioned in the wikipedia article but that's about it.

i wonder if this version of ff4 will be more like the original japanese one, but i guess if they're porting from the psx versions then they probably are.

Hmm...I don't think it will be a port of the PS version. What would they do with the CG? More likely it's an updated version of the original, with the PS translation.

I think it's more a port of the Wonderswan version.

I think it's more a port of the Wonderswan version.

Hopefully without the fake janky mode 7 airship flying. Worst part of that version.

What version of FF4 isn't like the original?
