Ok, I'll admit that I'm no casa blanca, and that when it comes to the babes I pretty much suck (no pun lawlz); but I have learned quite a lot about women in my days. Truth be told, most of the girls I dated were friends beforehand and not afterwards, but that's not the point! The point is that we're all very horny and looking for boothbabes to satisfy our craving for sex-starved gamer girls. Actually I'm not too hung up on the sexual aspect of it, I just want to find a decent chick to hang out/go to shows/jam with. I had a few girlfriends in highschool, and I hated the whole "dating scene" and this unwritten book of "dating ethics", so now I'm looking for someone who is just a friend but if I tell her that she'll be offended.

In order to aid us all on our quest for companionship, I thought it might be a good idea to compile a list of shizzies' dating or chick-tips. I am not asking for everyone to pull out their own bastardized version of the Book of Love, but just share one or two one-liners that you think might help those crossing into the unknown.

Here's probably the only serious advice I'll ever give:

Never talk to girls differently based on their appearance.

Think about it: if you talk to the "hot chick" just like she was some overweight sewing club girl, she will lose that self-aggrandizing goddess image that everyone else gives her because they fall at her feet and try to be the first to offer her gum etc, and you can actually interact with her at a real level. Also, the less-attractive chicks will be flattered that someone is talking to them as a person and cares more about substance than superficialities.

Be nice to every girl you see, because even chicks that are hard on the eyes might have hot friends!

In retrospect I guess this thread could work for homosexuals as well

Don't be overly sweet. If you're pulling the baby-talk/making "cute" faces angle more often than not (that is to say you're doing it more than you're not doing it) there's a problem. A good amount of sweet is definitely a good thing, I'm not saying it shouldn't be, but think about it; when you have a bowl of ice cream after a steak it's wonderful, when you eat a bag of sugar for dinner you hate anything sweet.
To couple that above if you don't want your friends and your girlfriend to clash make sure you don't act radically different around them. My brother is like this and none of us can hang out with him and his girl because it's not the same guy. As a result when he asks us if we want to go out with them to hang we say no 90% of the time. You obviously don't have to pick someone that your friends are going to like, it's not their girlfriend, and you can modify your behavior to adapt to whichever girl's needs, just don't transform into someone else when you're around them.
That's really ambiguous advice and actually barely qualifies for advice at all. I'm not the relationship guru by any means, I've just seen several short and longstanding relationships (of others) fall apart for these types of reasons.
I guess the only sound advice I can give is don't put it in the butt on the first date unless you KNOW that brick knocked her out.

I dunno man, all I can say is that self confidence and the ability to carry on a conversation help. Ditto for not getting hung up on a girl too much and being able to make people either laugh or be interested in what you're saying.
