How expensive is crazy fruit-intake diet? I want dollar amount, not some "it's cheaper than crazy ____ diet"

My wife and I have been juicing for a while, and that much fruit gets more expensive than you'd think. We buy in bulk when we can (barring that it's good and all), but we pay about $30 a trip for fruits/veggies and they last a few days... so maybe $10 a day for us. Probably not that accurate, or a good gague, but whatever.

Yea, eating healthy the last few weeks, my grocery bill has been $40 more expensive than usual due to the amount of fruit I'm buying (and I've not been buying meat lately). This also includes me buying only what's on sale (which usually works out because it's the stuff that's in season).

avergae grocery bill for 2 people weekly: $120
thats all our produce (about 3 trips per week), buying frugally/whats on sale where i can, and also includes my supplements/cat+dog food/household stuff

it sucks. and the lady has her hours cut until the busy season starts again, so ive been footing the bill myself for the past few weeks. fun times.

the upsdie is that i do eat a very balanced diet, heavy on fruits/veggies. really, if i didnt also get so much extra calories/downsides from my booze intake i would be extremely healthy.

Where are you guys buying your produce from? Supermarkets around here are grapey with their prices, farmer markets and co-ops have been incredibly cheap and I can get a week's worth of fruit and veggies for $30 from http://russos.com/

my produce is a mix of Sprouts (usually by far the cheapest), frys/kroger when stuff is on sale and farmers markets (but not in the summer because seriously, fuck that)
