How expensive is crazy fruit-intake diet? I want dollar amount, not some "it's cheaper than crazy ____ diet"

It's about $10-12/day for me alone, everything organic, no supplements or any pills, powders, or potions. My diet is nutritionally complete with just fresh fruits and veggies. My biggest expense is berries though (except now in the summertime), so it could be a lot cheaper if I could live without those. I could also cut back on my costs significantly if I had people here who were willing to split a purchase at my local wholesale organic produce warehouse. $100 is the minimum purchase and that's for a LOT of food... more than I could eat before it went bad.

Meat and dairy is expensive. Eating healthy doesn't have to cost a fortune as long as you shop at the right places. I'd literally be paying double what I do now if I shopped at Whole Paycheck, *cough* I mean Whole Foods, instead of Trader Joe's.

But even if it did cost me twice as much to eat the way I do, I'd still pay for it. What's a more important investment than your own health? I mean, how much are you worth? You only get one body to last you a lifetime. Being sick is expensive. You can either pay more to eat well now, or pay exponentially more when you're old and sick. Living healthy is actually pretty cheap in the grand scheme. I don't plan on ever having to go to a doctor or taking any medicine for the rest of my life. I've only been sick once this entire year, and that was from food poisoning because I wasn't careful enough. Fruits and veg ftw yo.

I'm curious and I'm sure you've answered this in the other threads but it's friday and I'm lazy...what's your primary source of protein (specifically)?

Sorry, missed this one. The World Health Organization recommends a minimum of 3% of your total calories from protein. Fruits average around 3-5%. You really don't need that much protein. A great amount of the diseases today are caused by an over-consumption of protein. Clinical studies have shown that in excess of 10% is where disease starts to form. I also get protein from dark leafy greens like spinach and kale, which are much cleaner sources than anything else.
