I was under the impression that the Wii would be able to download ANY game from the mentioned consoles.

From what I understand. Nintendo is going to be adding games to the VC each week. Or at least, I think I read that somewhere. So I'm not real worried about it.

I think that the Wii will definitely regain some of its market share. It has a lot of selling points over the new X-Box and Playstation.
Oh yeah, and Walmart online preorders are now sold out.

I think they said something about not ruling it out, but I doubt it'll be available at first.
EDIT: It's a really good idea for some of the old games by the way.
