Saw about 10 hours of Xenoblade this weekend. The game's pretty tight.

Yeah, Juju is just her scumbag little brother. Also, seeing his name kept confusing me since my online alias is Juja. Anyway, Sharla's one of the best party members throughout the entire game. Plus, her different outfits don't disappoint.

This is unbelievable... When I saw that you had posted in this thread, I could've sworn it was just to make fun of the name I had given Sharla/Jujus. My mind is stacked.

I didn't know that Juju was Jujus' little brother, though--or, rather, that Jujus is Juju's BIG sister. It shows just how little I actually paid attention to my cousin playing the game this weekend, but I still very much enjoyed what I saw of it!

My brother and I picked up Xenoblade with our Casino winnings from yesterday today.

I am excite. Gonna play it on Dolphin sometime when more of the High res texture packs develop(As long as they don't compromise the art style)

I imagine that'll look pretty awesome. I already think the game looks great as it is, but the high res stuff would be pretty cool. Anyway, if you're the kind of person that gets sucked into side quests and stuff, prepare to spend a huge amount of time with this game. I've played for 125 hours and I'm still not done. I think I'm right at the end, but there are still more quests to do.

If it's anything like FFXII level of sidequest stuff. I know i'll love it. And I know i'll love it based on the Xeno name alone!

I am going into this completely without any fear of it possibly being anything but great.


The game does look great already (Even some PS3/360 games don't seem to have such scale!)
When running in high resolution some of the 2D assets (like UI and character portraits) don't look so hot. And so it's mainly to rectify that.
The game's actual texture data has been recently dumped. So I imagine progress will start taking off at some point.

Heck, I may just play this on my SDTV in my PC room if I can't wait long enough! (Because I don't have component cables for the Wii so it would look like poop on my other SDTV.)

I don't even care so much about graphics in my games, but Xenoblade is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played.

I followed someone's suggestion from the FWP thread and got some RGB component cables, and hooray, Skyward Sword is playable! That half-second lag is now merely maybe a tenth of a second. Still a little annoying, but the game is playable. And quite gorgeous, too, so far, I might add.

I also need to switch back to my CRT+RGB setup for finishing off Skyward and pressing on with Xenoblade, methinks. They look appallingly jaggy on my HD telly, for some reason.
