I have yet to go to a Park game yet. I really miss the Vet, even though it really was shitty.
We should plan on getting some tix soon...any preferences on seating/opposing team?

Dollar dog day!

My roommate works for the Phillies. Maybe he can get some deals.

can your roommate get me a deal on a job? ha

"well, since you know this guy from the internet, we'll hire him for twice the normal pay...plus benefits"

Colin, Matsu, and I went to a Fat party where everyone was pretty fat and I went to get a beer and this fat girl sat between Colin and Matsu on the futon and she sank while they were boosted up.
That party also had Fat Kareshi and we were all excited so when we left I said "bye Fat Kareshi!!" and he was all like "huaghaughahhaha byeeeeeee"

Yea that was on all weekend! Comedy Central sure knows when to bust out the classics.
Give em' the heater.

Yeah but the movie that was on after it with Ron Livingston just fucking blew. That movie had an all-star cast and there was barely a laugh to be found.

at times i had to remember he was talking about alex rodriguez and not jesus christ. i mean, i was waiting for the writer to come to a punchline, but no. it's 100% serious.

and that's hilarious.

It's so so good. Now that Rick Ankiel is an outfielder, A-Rod is now the major league player most likely to pull a Richie Tenenbaum.

Joe Buck: That's 72 errors on the year for A-rod. He's playing the worst baseball of his life. What's he feeling right now?
Tim McCarver: I don't know, Joe. There's obviously something wrong with him. He's taken off his shoes and one of his socks and... actually, I think he's crying.

i thought you wrote the wrong person in there until i checked up on this. wow. i can't believe he's still around. as an outfielder.

i'm guessing he's not making the club though.

i'm about ready for spring training to be over. stories are getting boring and the "don't worry, we'll be ok come opening day" refrains are starting to get old.

Definitely. I just had an argument with someone about the value of Gil Meche. When you're reduced to arguing Gil Meche, it's time for Opening Day.

Small business manager of the year, Ugueth Urbina.

Not worth a roster spot in even the deepest fantasy leagues.

of course this happens when the phillies pick him up, and now happen to need bullpen help. someone break him out of prison and get him into the 7th inning already.

So my mom got tickets from people at work for next Wednesday's game of Phils/Braves...so I'm goin' to that!

But we should still all try and go to a game this season!

Sweet! I might soon have a job as a photographer for Atlanta Braves home games. Tomorrow is the interview and then try outs are at the two exhibition games this weekend. The pay is pretty good, fits my school schedule, and I get to go to games for free. I had been looking for a job for awhile now; thank god I don't have to resort to some other shitty retail/food service job.
