I can't thank everyone enough for such a great weekend and first MAGfest. I may have to just start going to them all even if we're not playing a show. ^_^

I got to hang out with more Shizzage than ever this year, the listening party and jamspace were fucking awesome too. GOD I needed this break so badly.
My favorite part of the whole weekend was looking up from watching a musclebound stud getting deep-throated by a policewoman on norg's laptop, only to see Mig50 tear ass back into the concert room like a bolt of fashionably coiffured lightning. I stood up and cheered. I had no idea what was going on, but I heard "MIG IS BACK!" and I was like "HEROIC!!!!!"
Also hanging with Snappleman, Spamtron, Snappleman, Eric, Kirby, Snappleman, whoever else stopped by for fucking like 5 hours or something on the Insomnia Couch and, later, the Insomnia Chairs. That's a tradition at this point, sleeping on Saturday night / Sunday morning is for pussies, but after a certain point I get too tired to do anything except just chill.
To top it off, various drama I'd anticipated/feared never came to pass. It was a 100% great time, I can't wait for 7.

Thank you all for being so incredibly cool.
If I was bothered by anything, it would be not participating in the biggest DOD ever. The other thing would be the inability to explain how amazing the weekend was to anyone I know - and they truly understand. I tried to explain it to the lady (complete with details, pictures, gestures, cartwheels, and impersonations), and it just didn't work.
One of those "bothers" will be remedied next year. The other just proves how amazing it all really was. Outta words.

I loved your guys' set. It was a good thing to have to balance out all the rock.
The best part is how people were actually shushing each other in the audience.

I guess I'll do this Kareshi-style. Note that I actually didn't do a lot of F7 F7 F7 F7 F7--if I couldn't get something in like 10 or so tries, I'd move on to something else. This generally continued even when I was down to stuff I had to "wing" as opposed to having practiced it beforehand. But anyway.
*One-Pointers
A Boy and His Blob- Beat Blobolonia (I was the only person to do this...thanks to one of the guys who was running the booth for showing the fully intended way to do it)
Bad Dudes lv 1
Castlevania- Defeat Dracula
Castlevania 3- Defeat Dracula with Trevor
Rescue Rangers last lvl
Commando- Beat levels 1-1 to 1-4
Beat Donkey Kong
Beat Donkey Kong Jr.
Double Dragon 2 Level 1
Dr. Mario - lv 20 on Low speed
Ghosts N' Goblins stage 1
Gradius lv 1
Jackal lv 1
Beat Kung Fu
Life Force lv 1
Mega Man 3 - 8 bosses with special attacks
Metroid - beat Tourain
Rush N' Attack Stage 1
SMB2 - beat Wart
Top Gun - lv 1 + land on carrier
**Two-Pointers
Bayou Billy lv 3
Athena lv 1 (Thanks Kareshi!)
Double Dragon lv 3
Ninja Gaiden- Last 3 Bosses, no special weapons (Was I the only person to pull this off too?)
Rad Racer last lvl (Thanks to the guy who was running it that pointed out the Up arrow nitrous sort of thingie...even with this, I really limped across the finish line)
TMNT - Technodrome boss (Funny thing: in practice, I usually immediately switched to the weaker Leo [Because he still had decent range] and ran his life almost dry before switching back to Don and THE BIG LUMBER to finish the job. I had this dialed in well enough at MAGFest that I actually beat the boss with Leo, and didn't even need to switch back to Don and THE BIG LUMBER.)
***Three-Pointers
Batman - last 2 bosses in one life (Thanks to Dan Henry's speedrun of this game. The methods I ended up using were different from his, but he convinced me that there were patterns I could exploit, especially on the Firebug)
Battletoads - Rat Race
Marble Madness - silly race (Thanks Magic Wand!
Mega Man 1 - Rock Monster
Mega Man 2 - 8 bosses with M-buster - thanks to multiple people on this one. I didn't ask any one specific person for help, but I silently watched a bunch of people at various points in this challenge and picked up a lot from it.
Silver Surfer - beat any stage (did Reptyl)- Thanks Kareshi!
SMB1 - beat game in one life and under 15 coins (Thanks to multiple people here too, as I watched and realized this wasn't as difficult as it sounded at first).
Zelda 2 - last 2 bosses with Attack lvl 1
In all, I think they did a really good job at coming up with something that gamers of every level could enjoy and be entertained by.
So Metal Dream and Kareshi (And everyone else who wants to get involved), I presume next year, if something similar exists, we're going to collectively defend the honor of The Shizz while trying really hard to outdo each other again?

To Shoe, Gumby, and Akumu:
I apologize for the lack of Subway. I ended up not feeling well after driving Falk to the airport, getting lost, picking him back up from the airport, then getting lost again so I spent most of the rest of the night in my room. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me.
whoa...eric dude has like 7 balls.

I think the majority of this weekends highlights have already been covered, but personally I should add:
-all the SF2 matches with eric dude
-meeting new magfesters and talking to numerous shizzies for the first time in real life, and becoming better friends with many, many others.
-tss and the advantage (thank god neither got scheduled for saturday)
Regrets?:
Barely getting to talk to many people that I was hoping to have conversations with, and missing some of the non-concert concerts I could've made it to.
Getting booted was real crappy for an hour or two, but (thanks to all those listed in DH's post,) it gradually turned out to be one of the most memorable and fun magfest nights ever, bar none. I'm sure many didn't have the resources or relevant knowledge to come out, but I have so much love for the guys who caused this transformation.

I seriously walked around outside trying to figure out where "the Marriott across the street" was for about 20 minutes before giving up. I am pleased that others were more determined than I.
