There is so many things that happened suring those 4 days that i'm not sure how to write it down correctly...i'll just go in blocks of events and see how it's gonna turn out
Arrival at Hotel / Meeting People from the shizz
As soon as we set foot in the hotel lobby on thurday, we got greeted by a super enthousiastic Norg. The huge hugs and discussion that ensued was great. It was so awesome just by the fact that all the stupid fears I had that some people might not care at all if I was there or not because i wasn't part of any groups or stuff like that, dissapeared instantly! You really make me want to go to Pax, meet you guys and well, you kinda make me want to enter DoD sometime...when you talk about music it seems so fun and well...if I can get better at playing and get some recording skills...who knows? You might see Metal Dream with 0 points in a dod sometime!!! Rockzorz!
Getting in touch with lots of shizzies, either for the first time or not, was awesome as usual. To everyone that i've talked to this magfest, I'd like to say that I <3 you all a lots and you guys are the reason why I want to return to magfest every year. I'm sorry that I couldn't meet a couple of you and it's a total bummer but I guess there is always next year ( Especially, Hale-Bopp which we are like the biggest fans of Summer Time, Pongball , Ken Oh , Nick The Newbie, and i'm drawing a complete blank here

It was awesome to finally meet all the gamers like DisposableHero, IbbyCabbage, JoeMusashi, Vegeroth, Leonidus, Zoast and PingoNoob ( I got to meet the man behind the Ya Rly ) after all these games of Dota and Starcraft...I can't wait to see you online again! And in Real life too for that matter
Partying in our room / Other People Rooms
Going in Megamatt's room and then in Shawn's room was really awesome...I'll always remember the toast that House decided to do...standing up on the bed while Megamatt was passed out behind him. Recieving a can of Sparks was a total orgasm...then Creeper gave us more Sparks later and I'm so damn grateful to you dude...Like meeting you was awesome but giving us some sparks on top of that was godly, THANK YOU!!!!! Getting to hang out with Ashane, Dispo, Zoast, Spook, Inkaholic, D.Shadow , Irony ( I didn't said Chris Morgan a single time!!!!! ) House (Which you had time this year!!!) Trying to get that NES to work was a bitch lol! I guess it was just your cartridge that sucked balls
I was hyped that we had 2 mini parties on our room...usually i'd be like fuck... I hate when stuff gets broken and shit but everything was cool so I was fucking happy!! Thanks to anyone that came to visit us in non party hours too!!! That includes, Kirby, Norg, Falker, Disposable Hero ( Which I was so sad that I didn't had the chance to say goodbye when you got gayed out of the hotel but knock knock, DISPOOOOOOO!!!!! damn man, <3 you lots dude) Gumby and Cacomistle ( Which man, you are like the sweetest thing ever! I'll always remember how you acted when I opened the door and you were there with a box of Hershey Cookies and Creme and you said : (Insert unsure look here) Umm..... (Looks at the box) Would you like some chocolate? ) I'll miss you a lot bro
Thanks to anyone that came to our room and I had such a blast drinking / watching american gladiator / yelling at how noob people ar on Deal or no Deal...thanks to Wizwars, Toadette , IbbyCabbage (Dude, damn, PMD!!!!!!!!), Mig (Don't piss in my tub next year tho, smells awful), Norg, Zio, Atomic Guy , Spook, Cacomistle, Gumby, Riders, Chris, Spamtron, EricDude, Xmark, Vegeroth (MISS YOUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) The Wozz, Akumu, Snappleman, Tina, Creeper, .... if i'm missing out on someone i'm totally sorry!!!!!!
The Mario Kart DS brawl was awesome too! XMARK FOR THE COMEBACK!
Concerts
I wasn't much into the concerts this year, I blame it all on the booth challenges...but man, lemme tell you this. Armcannon and TSS rocked my world this year. Yes once again i'm gonna sound like a fucking fanboy but man, you guys rocked so hard this year, can't wait to spread the word over here in Moncton. Rocking out with obnoxious (Which i'm so sorry that i swung you so hard but glad that I got to rescue you in the pit
) and trying to shield Spamtron from the pit that was hapenning behind him was great. My fav moments of the shows : Shawn Micheals song and the semi strip from Mike, Holy Diver, Tecmo Football, Final Fantasy 3, Journey To Silius, and, well, every fucking somg was just so awesome, i was just so caught in the moment that I can't really remember some parts heh! I'm sorry I haven't seent he others even tho I said I'd go but...damn, if Kareshi and Emptyeye weren't that good , I would have seen the shows but duty called
NES Booth Challenges
I saved my best experience of Magfest for last. Before I start, I'd like to thank and gives lots of love and props to anyone who tried the challenges or stuck around with me. The outcome of the challenges was aweosme. Kareshi beat us all by one point and I got in a tie with Emptyeye for 2nd...which we had to duke it out on a 1v1 at Dr. Mario. Even if I got the best of him on that, I'd like to point out that these guys are hardcore and the only way that I could have won this thing is that if they would have placed all 6 megaman games in the challenges!!!!
Kareshi : Ladies, please, you have to come to realize that this man is the total package. He is handsome, he can totally make you swoon with his piano skills, he is calm and open to talk to you, he is smart, there is no hatred in this guy but if a little roughness turns you on, pop megaman in a NES and watch him go. Thank you for the encouragements, the tips and mostly, your friendship. Daniel you are awesome and you are one half of the reason why the booth challenge was the most awesome tournament ever. Even if , once again, I failed to win something for me or for the shizz, I just don't care anymore, I had a total blast with you and I'm gonna miss you a lot bro
Emptyeye : Dude, you are the other half of the reason why this challenge was the best tournament, you are a great and skilled gamer and I could learn lots from the way you analyse the games you play. We finally got the chance to talk and to tell the truth dude...I really feel bad that i've won the Dr. Mario 1v1...I figured out a way to stand between the Joker's lightning bolts but you showed me where to stand that was sure and those extra 3 points were maybe points that would take longer to get and maybe I wouldnt had the time to get one or two points here and there....I really feel like you deserved 2nd more than me but Kareshi did something honorable what made me feel better, he split the prize money ... which I was about to give 10$ of my prize to you hehe...I also can't wait to see you again next year and I hope there is new challenges that will await us!
Sam : Thanks for hanging out with me dude!!! I haven't destroyed Dracula as well as you did but I did it and your encouragements were heart warming! I was really hyped what you placed 6th? (I was sure you were 5th) and hopefully we can meet again next year! Congrats to you and Ryan 8 Bit who actually managed to finish Dr.Mario on max difficulty!
Tyson Code : Duuuuude!!! I was so dissapointed that you couldn't beat tyson in the first round but knocking him down twice and being like 3 punches away from making Magfest history is good enough in my book! Thanks for all the nice things you said about me and all I can say is that i'm really grateful that I could meet you this year and hopefully we will be able to talk more next year!
Ryan 8 Bit : Dude, I was so happy that you talked to us this year, last year we didn't got the chance to talk to you more but damn, talking to you at the challenge booths (And outside too) was just pure awesome, it's really nice to know you outside of the whole videogame remixing scene and , well , thanks for showing me how to beat marble madness's silly race! It looked so easy when you did it haha! Take care dude and I hope that i'll get to meet you again next year!
