It's our time to shine soon, ladies and gents. Pre-season is in about a month, so lets start chatting away about our home teams and others that we love/hate:

I live outside of Philadelphia and I had to sit thru and put up with that MISERABLE season last year. It was our worst season in franchise history, but it all started to change when we made all our trades and signings towards the end... and pratically robbing Nashville of 4 players for their ORIGINAL 1st round draft pick. I doubt Forsberg will come back next season, too... I mean to the NHL.

Speaking of which, Nashville will have their last season there before being relocated to Kansas City, too!!! So now Kansas and Missouri will have a hockey team to go along with the Royals and the Chiefs. Apparently they really wanted a hockey team for a while now. So did Winnepeg... I would LOVE to see the Jets again, even though they ARE the Coyotes now. They shoulda never got rid of the original jerseys. They look too much like the Red Wings now.

Daniel Briere said it best, "I can't wait to hate the Rangers like the rest of Philadelphia." Daniel Briere in Philly till 2015!!! Sweet I'm glad people are finally talking GOOD about Philadelphia in ANY sense. It actually made it to be National news... I'm sure in Canada, too. Especially since our top line is 2 French Canadians and a Canadian turned American (Knuble) like the whole Brett Hull thing.



I wonder who is up next for the uniform change... Last year it was Buffalo and Aneheim.

I was tempted to make the exact same thread but instead I Wait! Hear me out! I'm all for having fun on the shizz, but I am also all for not pissing people off on the shizz. So, how about we keep parody related posts for this thread. We can even make a game out of it! If you think of a parody, try to find a way to post about it without revealing exactly what it is, and the rest of us can guess what the parody is!

ya as all the canadians i'm into hockey but i like playing it more than watching it last season i didn't watch the games it will probably change this year but i hate watching the games with my roommates because they watch it in French and they only watch the Montreal canadiens ones too you have no idea how the French (quebecers) announcer or whatever they are called can say about their team that have no coherence thats why i like to watch the games on an English channel because they are more objective about both teams than the f-ing Quebecers

and New Brunswick is way better then quebec i wouldn't go live in quebec even if i would get a 10000$ a week job
i just don't like living in big cities too much stress and i worked for a calling center here in Moncton where we did tech support for quebec sympatico so i had my share of quebecers for a lifetime

The Canucks showed a lot of promise last season. But they'll need to get their offensive game together to have a chance at the Stanley cup. Can't leave the whole game up to Luongo

i just hope ottawa plays well again. they've been having alot of strong seasons in the last 5-6 years. bound to stop sometime. unless they are like the redwings. i fucking hate the redwings.
ottawa needs more strong players. anahaim man-handled them physically.

hockey seasons should have less games. i never watch the regular season because none of the games matter individually. football has the right idea with a game a week. baseball is retarded, what is it 150 games a season? less games make it more exciting, that's why the playoffs are so much fun. that and more fighting.
