Was the MegaMan Powered Up the PSP game? I can't recall.
yes, and featured two new levels as well as a LEVEL EDITOR. with DOWNLOAD SUPPORT. over the INTERNET.
maverick hunter x is a supreme port of X to the PSP, but i HATE HATE HATE what they did to the art style of the game.

to be fair, mills did say original mega man game. though i think most of the ones you mentioned fall into that category.
i cross'd a barrier into SCOOPvilLe yesterday and dunked with the best jammers and fresh dip ballers roundabout through an awesome bomb dunk party.

powered up might as well be an original game, from what i've seen.

this is a video of a minigame in ZX Advent, which was made by the same people who are making MM9. although quite obviously more a proof of concept than anything else, this is probably a slice of what to expect.

I still need to finish ZX off, actually. It's a lovely game, although I didn't think any of the areas were connected in a remotely meaningful way, and found the world a bit confusing to navigate at times. 'Metroidvania' is not a template for instant, easy success, Capcom!

Why is it that mega man can teleport into a enemy's area, teleport out when he's done, but not just teleport right to the enemy's door...

You guys obviously haven't read mandy paugh's logical explanation for this stuff on the mega man homepage.

Sam, the Neon Orange Knight
you will die of sodium poisoning before you ever take me with enough grains of salt.
Perhaps the same can be said of all birth control. But enough posting- have at you!

Eh, there were a lot of things I liked about zx, but the map system was not one of them. Each area is shown on the map, but not in the style of metroid or cv's, so you never really know where you are going. It gets rather old, quickly. I really dig the story however, and the weapons and missions are a cool add.Honestly there hasn't been a good original mega man game in over 10 years. Prove me the FUCK wrong!
Seems like Mega Man ZX got good reviews, and good word-of-mouth. Still wanna get my hands on that game (mega man with metroid elements was all I needed to hear). Other than that, though...
Put some South in yer mouth.
