Apparently Capcom recently registered "Mega Man 9" with the Office of Film and Literature Classification (Australia's ESRB). It is to be released on PSN and XBox Live Arcade. TOO BAD I HAVE NEITHER SYSTEM!

Eh, maybe not. If anything, this game will be used to tie in the events preceding the X series. X and Zero's creation etc.
Use 800 gigabytes of samples, I give approximately 0 gigafucks.

Ehhh I'll believe it when I see it. The fact that they registered with the OFLC pretty much means nothing to me. Also, while online vs. mode a la The Power Fighters would be fun, an online-only title would be stupid, so I don't believe that bit about it being released over XBox Live Arcade and PSN.

Also, while I don't know much about the OLFC, why wouldn't it be important if they registered the name with it? Do you think they should have done it somewhere else?

I've read about this game and just about everything I've heard so far is just speculation.
The only thing I know that's been confirmed is that it will be multi-platform; which platforms is still unknown.
I'm not really sure how excited I can be for this game.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most of the Mega Man games after the first few pretty underwhelming?

I pretty much enjoy 1-8 and Megaman and and Bass. 3 is where it peaks for me, but I still like the others a whole lot. Those and the X series up to 4 are great.
