VGMix has sent its armies of hell upon The Shizz once more. It is up to us to put an end to them ...for great justice!

The graphics are sweet, the sounds are still the same and it looks like they added more quests, dialogue, story and also interactive environments.

.... too bad it's still Diablo. :P

I really don't mind this game much.

Whether or not it ends up being free to play online will determine if I get this.

I doubt 9 inches would play much into a relationship, if at all.

I'll say it again, FUCK. How does Blizzard do it? I mean, have they released a bad game yet? I knew this day was coming, so maybe I should have been prepared, but I know that any notion of a social life will disappear once this game hits the shelves. *sigh*

What I liked:

- More colorful animations. In D2, some of the animations from the Amazon, Sorceress, and Necro classes were kind of generic for every spell. Looks like it will be much more fun and interactive to use skills and cast spells in this game.

- Enemy HP Bars seem to be a little more noticeable. Especially on the smaller minion types, they show up above the actual creature which should make it easier to assess situations.

- The music seems to be as good as the last two. I got chills just watching the trailer and gameplay demo. My pc bogged down and I couldn't open the FAQ or World pages, but I wonder if Uelmen is doing this OST also. I would assume so, he did a great job on the first 2.

- The story, according to Blizzard, should be more involved than in its predecessors. Despite being an MMO, I always thought this was one of the strong points of the series.

- A much more interactive world. NPC's seem to have a larger role, and anything around you looks like it can be used somehow. Makes it seems much more realistic.

- It's not WoW. This really was my biggest concern when I would start thinking about a possible D3. They keep the interface relatively the same (and simple for that matter), and it looks like the controls are gonna be as easy to use as the previous 2.

What I didn't like:

- Only two character classes? That's really the most ridiculous shit I've ever seen. Perhaps they just aren't going to release that information yet, but I sure hope they plan on having a few more. Granted, assassin was worthless, but the amazon class dates back to the first Diablo and the paladin and sorceress classes were crucial during party play in D2.

- Where are the pots? While I like the idea of monsters dropping HP orbs, there should still be a place for a belt and holding extra potions. ESPECIALLY if they are planning on making a hardcore gametype as they did in D2. You can never have too much life or items that replenish it. I hope they address this issue during beta testing.

- PC reqs. My comp is a dinosaur. So I know I will have to get a new pc before I can play this game. Which really isn't a bad thing, I need an update anyway. But who has the money to drop a couple grand on a pc when there are things like the 360, PS3, and Wii out there that I haven't even touched yet. *sigh* So much money needed, and so little coming into my bank account.

- Too dependent on co-op play, maybe. I hope that this game is as enjoyable single player as it will be co-op. In the first two, I don't really feel like you experience the setting of the game as it was meant to be during online play. The game is much more erie and the atmosphere and mood of the game are much more dark during single player play.

All in all, this game should rock ass. I've been a huge fan of this franchise since the first one, and like I said before, Blizzard does a great job with any product they put out. My only concern is online play going to be free? I would imagine it won't be, after the success of WoW. But we'll see.

I'm sure this'll most likely be free to play online since it's still going to be over battle.net. At the very least, they'll make a free to play part and a pay to play part. Like a couple extra dungeons or something. I'm sure I'll buy it. In the meantime, I kinda wanna play Hellgate London now.

How many character classes are included in Diablo III? What are they?

Five character classes will be included in the game, two of which, the barbarian and witch doctor, were revealed when the game was announced at the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational. The other classes will be announced at a later date.

Will players be able to choose the gender of their character, regardless of class?

Yes. Players will be able to create male and female characters for all five classes.

- from some WWI FAQ by Blizzard.

So I totally knew all about this one for almost a year now, since I have friends who work for blizz, just couldn't post anything about it openly on the internets.

Seems pretty interesting. The entire Diablo team is gone from blizzard, so its a different group, but while blizzard is turning corporate and evil, they're still picky about the quality of their games, so I think it'll be good.

out of any game in my entire life, diablo 2 ate up the most hours of my life by FAR back in the day. In fact I even remember selling 10 soj's on ebay for 100 usd one time. ha. Goddamn it. This made me not do homework, talk to girls, or sleep 8 years ago, and when it comes out it will do the same. looks freaking sweet. very improved interface. berzerkers that do MASSIVE DAMAGE! Also I like the red health orbs so you dont have to use potions as much. It just looks awesome, I am pumped, definiately a distraction from starcraft 2 *jizz*

Blizzard announces Diablo 3, and half the internet shits itself in excitement. I can't even load the gameplay videos myself yet, but I guess it might be interesting..
