The Hooters - And We Danced

this is one of the most uplifting songs i have ever heard. kinda a rip off of the springsteen born in the usa era but never the less a fucking kick ass song.

Donald Fagen - New Frontier

Great song, pretty great video as well, from Steely Dan's lead cynic.
Where you are I'll always go, I hear your voice on the radio...

Rachel Sweet - Then He Kissed Me / Be My Baby 1981

Cover and mashup of two amazing oldies songs, with some sax solo I don't like, but whateva.

I would say Echo And The Bunnymen or Electric Light Orchestra but here both of those just started playing like crazy on the stations only in the last 2 years.

this is false. I hear it on the radio a lot. Then again, they're from this area B) I loves me some Hooters. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have Cynthia Ann Stephanie Lauper!!! We all know how much I ADORE Cyndi

as far as 80's songs u rarely hear, any one hit wonder could fit in this category. Like:

Timbuk 3 - The Future's So Bright (I Gotta Wear Shades)

now THAT'S an awesome song!!!!!!!!!
The Beauty of Grind - VG Digi-Grindcore
Cide Projekt - dancey type stuff.

my stuff on bandcamp

I can think of a few I don't hear nearly enough! I love 80s radio, and these seem to never come on any more. :(

Nu Shoes: I Can't Wait (I can't wait to hear this song in the car again, lol :P)

Darkness: Believe in a Thing Called Love (I "believe" this video is from the 80s, but it sounds older!)

Taco: Putting On The Ritz (I wouldn't let anyone put Ritz on my taco hehe)

I may have more later!

Brian: You're drunk.Posted Image
Stewie: You're sexy.Posted Image

With all the talent in this band, they should have been huge, much more than a one-hit wonder!
